"Is anything the matter, Miss Joy? You seem lost."
One of the interns called for my attention and I looked at him in alarm.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I just… I just seemed to black out in thoughts." I lightly said and accompanied it with a laugh to lighten the mood but the look William gave me was enough to make me know he didn't buy it.
"Let's take five shall we?" He announced to the interns and they gave it a thought after looking at me before nodding in understanding. I didn't even bother to refuse because I actually needed to take five. I was overwhelmed with the events of today and it really creeped me out.
Once work hours are over, I'll head over to Jamie's place and spend the night there. Hopefully Ingrid won't come looking for me there because it will scare me to death.
