Chapter 174 - I won't chicken out

"All right, let's talk now," Freya said softly, her voice still slightly hoarse from the breathless moans she had let out not too long ago. She reached for the bedcovers and pulled them over her body, tucking them just beneath her arms as she leaned back against the headboard. The delicate sheets clung to her damp skin, doing very little to hide the soft swell of her curves or the heated flush that lingered along her collarbones. Still, her posture was firm, her expression composed and collected. Whatever softness or vulnerability she had shown earlier was now carefully tucked away.

She turned her head and fixed Trevor with a pointed look. Her eyes were sharp, unyielding. "I'm in the right frame of mind to listen to you now. Why have you been ghosting me, Trevor?"
