"Miss Yuna?" Oliver tilted his head and called out again.
Yuna, drowning in fear, suddenly felt relieved, realising that the negative intentions churning in Oliver's mind were not directed at her.
This allowed her to break out of her stupor.
"Yes." She replied.
Oliver stood up, hearing the reply.
The prison cells he was in were designed to imprison a C-ranked mana beast. It was dark, damp and humid with barely any light.
Oliver's legs were chained to the cell's back wall with reinforced metal that could disrupt mana flow.
As he was standing up, the metal chains rattled and clanked.
"Are you here to bring me out of this place?" Oliver asked with an amused expression. "Did my master arrive?"
"Yes." Yuna promptly said as she slowly and cautiously closed in on the cell.
Seeing her scared, Oliver realised his mistake.
Yuna could feel his emotions.
Usually, he would have hidden all his thoughts to help her.
