"What makes you think Vrietra has a hand in what happened to your homeland?" Vladimir asked. Narrowing his already swollen eyes at Evans.
"You proudly wore the emblem of Vrietra on your armor when you attacked Novara. Only a fool will believe your ridiculous attempt at a lie. Would you talk on your own? Or would you prefer a little more persuasion?" Evans said, his tone cold and gaze even colder. It looked as if he was giving Vladimir a last chance. If he wanted to live even a second longer, he had no other option but to tell the truth and cease all lies.
Seeing him like that, Vladimir chuckled.
"I have no idea how you came about that information. I could have sworn you weren't there, and neither was the princess," he paused, trying to fix his sight on Evans, but they have become blurry. "Did I wear Vrietra's crest? Yes, I did."
Evans opened his mouth to speak, but before he could, another voice cut in even before its owner could be seen.
