Chapter 94 - Chapter 94 : A sudden departure

It was Ryul who finally broke the silence.

"How was the party yesterday? Did you have fun?"

"…I don't really remember much. It was loud," Jihoon admitted, blowing on his spoonful of broth before taking a sip. "But I did manage to catch up with a few friends from high school."

"That's good."

Ryul's expression remained detached, which only confused Jihoon further.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing," the man casually replied with a smile, returning to his meal. He had made it seem like it was nothing out of the ordinary, but he did have some questions stuck in the back of his mind.

Mainly about the guy who dropped by yesterday... even the abrupt kiss they shared together. But what was the point, when Jihoon barely remembered anything?

Maybe it was just one of those drunken nights.

It didn't have to mean anything.

Best to leave it in the haze it came from.

"By the way," Ryul said, reaching for his tea. "I need to travel to Country Y."

Jihoon's head shot up, surprised.
