Chapter 95 - Chapter 95 : Life on pause

Jihoon was back to blankly staring off during lectures again–though this time, it was for a whole different reason. What had started out as an occasional lapse now felt like a bad habit sinking its roots deep. One he really needed to break.

His gaze was fixed somewhere between the rows of students and the dizzying letters on the whiteboard. Until, the professor's voice which had blurred into the background, snapped into sharp focus with the sound of someone getting scolded.

"Hey! Are you even listening?"

Jihoon's spine stiffened instinctively.

Luckily, the warning hadn't been directed at him but someone else in the back seat. Perhaps his long-standing good reputation was why he escaped suspicion, even if he was equally spaced out.

Jihoon gave a small sigh and shook the restless fog from his head, forcing himself to concentrate. But by then, the topic had long since moved on, and his pen had been trailing useless loops across half the page of his notebook.
