Faint rays of the early morning sun seeped into the room through the gently swaying curtains, enlightening the figure curled up on the bed. The air was fresh and crisp, with hints of a sweet orange fragrance. From outside, there came the sounds of the city slowly waking up from its slumber, an odd mixture of traffic and construction with the birds chirping in the small park nearby…

The man on the bed suddenly opened his eyes, waking up with a start, as his brain registered that something wasn't right. The chirping of the birds was normal, but the traffic noise…
The Chandlers' mansion was located on a massive estate. There was no way Axel should be able to hear traffic noise coming from so close outside the window!
He sat on the bed, taking a look around. His head was pounding, and he was still feverish and uncomfortable, but he didn't have time to care about that now. There was something far more urgent on his mind.
Where was he? How did he get here? What… had happened?
