Axel stared at his mother blankly.
Why was he suddenly supposed to treat Nasir to dinner as an apology? Even if Nasir wasn't at fault for the situation, at least not entirely, since it was just an unfortunate incident… Axel was also a victim! If anyone were to apologize, then that should be his parents, who failed to organize the rooms well. It was unfair for Mrs. Chandler to push it onto him to treat Nasir in their stead!
He wasn't surprised by the situation, though, not really. It wasn't the first, and surely also not the last, time that his mother was trying to set him up on a date with one of the eligible Omegas. She probably didn't even think that Axel truly owed Nasir an apology. She had just spotted an opportunity to send him on a date, and she wanted to take advantage of it.
