Days passed by, and before Axel knew it, it was already Friday afternoon. Axel finished reading the last of the reports and leaned back in his chair with a sigh.
Finally done for the day.
The office was already almost empty. Since they didn't have any major deadlines anytime soon, most employees had been able to clock out on time. And it was the weekend! No one really wanted to stay in the office any longer than they had to…
Well, no one aside from Axel, it seemed. Some of his work could have been done after the weekend, not to mention, no one other than him took so much time carefully reading every single report and file, but as a team leader, he wanted to do his best.
And it wasn't as if he stayed long past the clock-out time. Work was work, but he also didn't want to keep Ollie waiting…
"Not done yet?"
Axel opened his eyes to see Wynn standing right in front of him, with his backpack thrown over his shoulder.
