The welcome party ended quickly. Since Gudako and Hakuno were underage, alcoholic drinks were mostly replaced with soft drinks, eliminating the need for ceremonial toasts.
During the rare moment of relaxation, several staff members took up microphones and began singing songs from their homelands. As the singing continued, others started cleaning up the venue. Romani called out to Jiang You, who was about to return to the Prisma Illya World.
"Jiang You, there's something I want to ask you."
Romani glanced at Gudako, who was helping the staff tidy up. "It's time Fujimaru took a proper break. You can transport people to other worlds, right? Would you mind taking her and Mashu to a relatively peaceful world to relax? Especially Mashu—she's grown up entirely in Chaldea and never had a chance to see the outside world, let alone in this current environment where the Human Order is being incinerated."
This was no problem for Jiang You. Gudako and Mash required very little magical power, and he himself had few Skills that consumed Prana. Plus, he still hadn't obtained Gudako's card, so this was a perfect opportunity to try and get his hands on it. Gudako was just too irresistible.
"I'm fine with it, but can't you guys use Spiritron Transfer to send them to relatively normal Singularities? Why didn't you give Gudako a vacation before?"
According to the game's storyline, Gudako had experienced at least a hundred Singularities, and they'd already had at least two Swimsuit Events during Part 1. There was no real need for him to provide her with a vacation spot.
"As you know, the Summoning Circle only freed up resources to activate today," Romani explained. According to the main story's timeline, Gudako indeed didn't have much free time to wander through Singularities. Moreover, considering the event storylines, Chaldea's Heroic Spirit roster in Part 1 should have numbered at least several dozen. It made no sense that only Mash accompanied Gudako when conquering the seven major Singularities.
"Even restocking supplies at Singularities requires meticulous planning. There's simply no opportunity for a proper vacation."
"Alright, I'll take Gudako with me."
Jiang You, naturally, seized the opportunity. "I'll go tell her."
"Thank you."
Romani wasn't worried about Jiang You harming Ritsuka Fujimaru. With Jiang You's power, breaking through Chaldea's defenses would be trivial—he could simply release Tiamat. The current Chaldea lacked the support it had during the Singularity battles, and Jiang You's Summoning Circle was terrifyingly deep.
"And please stop giving people weird nicknames!"
"Okay, Solomon! Goodbye, Solomon!"
Jiang You flatly refused.
"Go to a normal world?"
Gudako's eyes lit up as Jiang You explained the situation. She had been disconnected from normal society for so long. Even when they went to London or America—the closest approximations to the modern world—they were still fighting ghosts and robots, things far beyond the realm of ordinary life. She had almost forgotten what a normal street even looked like.
"I want to go! I want to go! Mash, what about you?"
"Wherever Senpai goes, I'll go too."
In truth, Mash was even more excited than Gudako, but she maintained a more composed demeanor.
"Then let's bring Hakuno-senpai along too!"
Although neither of them were adults—both still high school students—Hakuno's perpetually stoic expression gave her an air of maturity, leading Gudako to unhesitatingly call her "senpai." Chronologically speaking, Gudako could technically be Hakuno's aunt.
"Me?"
Hakuno looked genuinely disappointed. She found Chaldea far more novel, having grown tired of ordinary worlds. But considering how much time she spent at school anyway, she didn't refuse.
"Fine, I guess."
"How could you exclude me from such an occasion?" Nero interjected, leaning in. "Whether it's for pleasure or battle, I shall not miss out!"
"Now that the decision is made, I have two worlds for you to choose from."
In reality, there were three timelines: the Faerie Realm, Chaldea's current timeline, and the Fourth War era. However, since all matters in the Fourth War timeline had been largely resolved and the era was relatively far in the past, it was immediately dismissed.
"One is a world Mash visited: Fuyuki in 2014. The Fuyuki Duel Tournament is currently underway. If you're interested, you could participate—the timing is perfect, as the preliminary rounds end in two days. Of course, if you'd rather travel abroad, that's fine too."
"Duel Tournament?"
Unlike Gudako and Mash, who had witnessed Jiang You's Noble Phantasms firsthand, Hakuno was completely unfamiliar with them. So Jiang You briefly explained his Noble Phantasms and the current situation in Fuyuki.
"This is practically a Singularity," Gudako remarked, stunned that Jiang You had brought the hidden Magic World into the open. "And the entire world has adapted to Fuyuki's current state... I don't even know what to say. Hmm... though I am a bit intrigued. But I'd rather rest properly for now. After all, your Noble Phantasms still revolve around combat. So, what about the other world?"
"The other world is a world of Magical Girls..."
"Magical Girls?!"
Aside from Nero, the other three girls reacted intensely, just as boys idolize Kamen Rider and Chainsaw Man, girls in their childhoods also dream of becoming Magical Girls. "There's even a Parallel World like that?!"
"No... at its core, it's still magic, just the eccentricities of the Second Magician, the Old Man of the Jewels."
Jiang You explained, wanting to temper their excessive expectations.
"That world is also Fuyuki around 2014, but with a slightly more peaceful atmosphere."
"Still, it's Magical Girls!"
Gudako had already made up her mind. "At least let me get a glimpse!"
"Why not have it all?"
Hakuno made a remarkably adult decision. She was intrigued by everything; the unchanging routine of daily life had grown tiresome. Though she'd only attended high school for a year or two, she felt as if decades had passed.
"Truly, you never cease to amaze me, Hakuno."
As the King of the Moon, she naturally desired everything that piqued her interest. Jiang You nodded in agreement.
"Of course. Just let me know where you want to go, and I'll take you there."
"Then, shall we depart?"
Jiang You was already prepared. Switching Scripts within the game didn't require passing through that intermediate space.
"Before we leave, I have one more thing I wish to do."
Nero turned her gaze toward the staff members belting out karaoke. "That contraption is called a microphone, correct? Hearing them sing has made my own throat itch. Why not indulge in my celestial voice before we go?"
"Your Majesty Nero can sing?"
Gudako had always been somewhat interested in ancient Roman music. This would be like witnessing history firsthand.
Jiang You glanced at the oblivious group, who had no idea what was about to happen, and silently took a step back.
"It's getting late. I'll go arrange your accommodations over there, or we'll run out of time later. You can play for a while. I'll be right back."
Some things they need to experience firsthand to understand.
"Can't it wait a bit?"
Nero grabbed Jiang You's hand, preventing him from leaving. She sensed he was trying to escape.
Jiang You gave her an apologetic smile and promptly logged out.
