Chapter 1050: Return to Camelot

"Thump!"

Eiji punched Habetrot right on the forehead.

Habetrot's eyes rolled back as she collapsed on the spot.

Everyone froze in stunned silence.

"I'm off!"

Then he vanished in an instant.

Leaving behind Habetrot and Mash, who were now piled on top of each other.

"Where is this...?"

Soon after, Mash woke up.

When she saw Grimm and the others again, she understood.

They had returned to this era.

"But why did Eiji-san knock me out?"

Mash couldn't figure it out no matter how much she thought about it, feeling quite frustrated.

...

The towering castle stood like a pyramid directly north of Camelot.

This castle, serving as the royal palace, was also the first fortress facing the Great Pit.

"Kneel and pay tribute!"

"Worship and submit!"

"All thirty ambassadors and hundred officials gathered here, bow your heads!"

"The king who expanded territories, the king who founded the Fairy Kingdom!"

"This is Her Majesty Morgan's court, these are Her Majesty Morgan's sacred words!"

At the palace's highest level.

In the vast council chamber, fairy officials crowded in for pilgrimage.

Under the scribe's chant-like proclamation, all officials humbly lowered their heads, offering respect and fear to the king seated above.

The queen sat upon the jade throne.

Behind her lay the bottomless Great Pit.

Her silver-white hair cascaded straight down like a waterfall, spilling over the jade throne.

A black dress hugged her curvaceous figure, the fitted style accentuating her excellent curves, with exposed skin gleaming like milk.

She wore a black veil over her face, making her features indistinct.

But judging from the hazy outline, she indeed resembled Artoria greatly, their facial lines almost identical from the same mold.

Fujimaru Ritsuka, Da Vinci Lily, and Artoria—these three representatives now stood below the jade throne, bowing to show respect to the queen.

This queen truly deserved their highest reverence!

Even Artoria couldn't refute this point.

Rather, she was the one who felt this most deeply.

"The prophetic child and foreign travelers are both permitted to speak."

The scribe announced clearly before quickly withdrawing.

Fujimaru Ritsuka and Da Vinci Lily exchanged glances.

Artoria kept her head completely lowered.

An indescribable silence temporarily filled the scene.

Finally, the queen spoke first to break the deadlock.

"Your efforts in Norwich, I have seen them all."

The queen's indifferent voice came through.

"Although ultimately it was not you who defeated the Great Calamity, but another who is not present here, the fact remains that you protected Norwich. I have always treated all subjects equally—rewarding merit and punishing faults."

"That you did not rush to ring the bell before coming to Camelot shows you remain my subjects, guests of this Fairy Kingdom. Therefore, I shall grant you rewards."

"One hundred million QP, is that sufficient?"

Before the words faded.

Azure magic crystals materialized mid-air, piling into a small mountain before the three.

"The queen can even do something like this?"

Gudako instinctively gasped in surprise.

QP is the universal currency within Chaldea, essentially a spatial mana occupancy value that mimics magical particles as quanta—a special form of mana crystal that should only be condensable by Chaldea.

"I deciphered your Chaldean magecraft long ago."

The Queen remained noncommittal.

"Truly worthy of you."

Da Vinci-chan's face was filled with admiration that seemed unattainable.

"Spatial Spiritron Transfer, Heroic Spirit Summoning, QP Condensation—aside from Imaginary Number Diving, you've almost completely mastered all the technologies we at Chaldea take pride in."

"Kehehe, that was all my doing!"

A somewhat shrill voice rang out beside the Queen.

The sharp-eared speaker was none other than Chaldea's old acquaintance—the Crypteeper Beryl!

A self-satisfied smile hung on his face.

For some reason, his complexion had improved noticeably.

"I didn't grant you speaking privileges, Beryl."

"Huh?"

Meeting the Queen's indifferent gaze, Beryl froze in confusion.

What's going on?

Weren't you supposed to give me maximum official authority?

"Do you think me incapable of Imaginary Number Diving, sage of Proper Human History?"

The Queen immediately ignored Beryl, turning her attention to Da Vinci-chan.

"If you can even accomplish such feats, I have nothing left to say! Throughout all of Proper Human History, few geniuses could rival your caliber!"

Da Vinci-chan showered her with effusive praise.

The Queen snorted coldly.

She had long grown weary of flattery.

Not even praise from Proper Human History's sage could soften her heart in the slightest.

"State your purpose."

Her tone carried an impermeable chill.

"I've heard you've destroyed several Lostbelts. Coming here—do you intend to repeat your actions?"

Hostility detected!

Da Vinci-chan instantly grew alert.

This Queen deeply resented Chaldea's past operations!

No!

It would be more accurate to say she utterly despised the prospect of Chaldea replicating their previous Lostbelt operations here in Britain!

"No, we have no intention of interfering with this Lostbelt!"

At this moment, Gudako proactively stepped forward.

Her gaze firm, she looked up at the Queen.

"From the very beginning, destroying this Lostbelt was never part of our objective!"

"We have only two goals: first, to negotiate with Your Majesty for the Holy Lance to confront an unimaginably powerful enemy threatening Proper Human History; second, to resolve the Collapse Phenomenon occurring in this Lostbelt!"

"Indeed, our past actions lacked justification, but I can assure you we will not repeat them here. Moreover, the Collapse Phenomenon is a global catastrophe—this holds true for this Lostbelt as well. Surely we can cooperate, can we not?"

Morgan was a rare genius.

She had even analyzed and completed the Holy Lance through magecraft!

Behind her, aligned toward the Great Pit, stood twelve fully manifested Holy Lances—something they had observed before entering Camelot.

To Morgan, the Holy Lance meant nothing.

Meanwhile, the Collapse would plunge the entire Earth into gravitational implosion, destroying the Britain Lostbelt as well.

There should be ample room for communication and cooperation between them!

"I refuse."

But the Queen resolutely rejected their plea.

"Let Pan-Human History meet its miserable extinction!"

"Between my Fairy Kingdom and your Pan-Human History, there is only the path of war—only one side shall survive in the end!"

Her words were filled with mockery and disgust.

"Once I have defeated your Pan-Human History, even the Alien God will be dealt with by me. There is not the slightest need for communication between us."

"The same goes for you, Child of Prophecy!"

Artoria suddenly trembled.
