Chapter 1061 - Chapter 1061

Chapter 1061: Miss Okita, Save Me!

The Round Table Army soldiers gathered at the city gate fell in droves with just a single strike.

The dark figure moved ten times faster than a cheetah!

Woodwose, like a hunting wolf, dove headfirst into the city of Londinium.

"Die, all of you!"

Thick magical energy formed a pressure as tangible as substance, surging in all directions with Woodwose's murderous roar.

Both fairies and humans, in that moment, felt as if they were under ten times the gravity. The immense pressure rendered everyone immobile.

A sharp shriek, like the scythe of death, reaped dozens of lives in the blink of an eye.

"Stop!"

Blood and severed limbs filled his vision. Percival's eyes widened in fury, and without hesitation, he raised his spear and charged at Woodwose.

"Damn it! I wasn't fast enough!"

Gareth cursed bitterly, his face filled with self-reproach and rage as he rushed forward.

"Reynard is taking action himself? I thought he was waiting for reinforcements?"

Grimm clicked his tongue in frustration.

"All ordinary soldiers, fall back! We'll handle this guy!"

There was no need for him to say it.

The Round Table Army soldiers had already fled in panic.

They were utterly outmatched!

Woodwose slaughtered ordinary fairies and humans as effortlessly as a meat grinder. His sharp claws sliced through bodies without resistance, and steel shields shattered like tofu under his strikes.

They were soldiers with ideals and morale, but they were certainly not fools who sought death!

The soldiers immediately retreated from the front lines.

Mash, Muramasa, and the others stepped forward with solemn expressions.

"So heavy!"

Just by approaching Woodwose, they were astonished to find that even their Servant bodies felt as if they were carrying a mountain under the pressure he emitted. Their movements became incredibly difficult!

"Clang!"

Claws struck the shield. Mash's arms trembled violently, her expression shifting abruptly as she was sent flying, shield and all.

Not only her, but the slashes from Muramasa, Tristan, and others couldn't even reach Woodwose. The immense magical pressure was like the breath of a star, making it impossible to get close!

In contrast, Woodwose's claws were terrifyingly heavy. A direct hit sent even Mash, a specialist in defense, flying over a hundred meters away!

"This guy's strength is absurd!"

Da Vinci's expression turned grim.

It was simply incomprehensible!

They had gathered so many top-tier Servants and elite fighters, yet they were overwhelmingly outmatched by just one Woodwose?

With this level of strength, how could they dare to challenge the Queen?

"I told you all along, Reynard is terrifyingly strong. Did none of you listen?"

Habetrot threw out threads, pulling Percival back just as he was nearly struck by the claws, and roared with dissatisfaction.

"Talking is pointless. After all, they've never truly fought Reynard before!"

Grimm deployed a barrier to guard the city gate, blocking all of the Fang Clan's soldiers.

Then, he swung his staff horizontally. The tip, enhanced with runes, pierced through the air and thrust toward Woodwose's abdomen.

"Snap!"

Woodwose's eyes gleamed with bloodlust. In a flash, he reached out and seized the tip of the staff.

"Wise Man Grimm, I've heard my predecessor had dealings with you, but don't think I'll show you any mercy!"

His arm swung out like a home run strike, sending Grimm's figure flying backward like a missile, crashing through several layers of ruined walls.

"This guy is really tough, and he still hasn't recovered Reneck's memories!"

Oberon hid behind everyone, watching the intense battle with trembling fear.

Continuous explosions roared as Woodwose moved through the battlefield unimpeded, sending all servants including Muramasa and Grimm flying. Almost no one could withstand a single round against him.

"The power consumption of Heat Dissipation Grand Duke is enormous. Entering this state makes me extremely hungry - I need to finish this quickly!"

Woodwose's eyes darted around.

The hunger already gnawing at his abdomen and his limited remaining action time restored some of his rationality.

His gaze swept across the battlefield, then suddenly focused.

Behind the servants engaged in close combat, he spotted a face remarkably similar to the Queen's.

The girl was looking at him in terror, her emitted magical energy enhancing everyone present.

Beside her stood another human girl wearing clothes that radiated magical energy. Though her expression showed fear, her eyes overflowed with resilience.

"Master! Run!"

Gareth's scream came first.

"Child of Prophecy and foreign traveler - die!"

A cold smile spilled from his ferocious mouth.

Woodwose's lower limbs explosively launched him forward like a springing cheetah, breaking the sound barrier in an instant. With violent, god-like speed that even servants couldn't react to, he charged toward the two girls.

Gareth's eyes widened.

Despair colored her vision.

It's over!

Her eyes already reflected the future she foresaw.

Limbs scattering like debris, blood splattering like paint.

The two girls would perish instantly.

Who could stop this... no, no one could stop it.

"Miss Okita, save us!"

But at this moment.

Something unexpected by Gareth occurred.

Fujimaru Ritsuka reacted in a way not present in the foreseen future.

Mashu stood as the final shield, blocking Woodwose for a crucial moment, buying time to call for support!

Suddenly.

A golden-haired girl cloaked in spring-green haori appeared before the two girls like a ghost.

Facing Woodwose's sharp claws, the girl raised her sword fearlessly to meet them!

"CLANG——!!!"

The heavy reverberation made everyone's internal organs tremble violently.

"BOOM!"

Dust scattered everywhere as the ground cracked like a spiderweb, suddenly sinking over a foot deep.

"What?"

Woodwose's eyes showed astonishment.

Beneath his downward claw strike, this girl had steadily blocked the attack without even a tremble in her sword hand.

"Originally I didn't plan to intervene, but if I didn't, you would have killed them both, which would trouble me greatly... Well then, I'll just have to repel you!"

The girl's amber eyes suddenly sharpened.

"Don't make me laugh! Don't think blocking one strike means you can get cocky!"

Woodwose laughed in furious rage.

While pressing down on the girl with his claws, he opened his mouth and inhaled all the magical energy from the surrounding atmosphere, preparing to roar.

Okita Souji's gaze turned stern.

With a flick of her blade, she channeled her entire body's strength through the weapon in that single motion, striking Woodwose squarely.

"Urgh...?!"

Woodwose let out a sudden cry of shock.

His legs seemed to move against his will, abruptly sent flying by the force of the blade.

Before he could process his astonishment, Okita Souji was already charging forward, sword in hand.

Those legs appeared slender and delicate, yet their explosive power was in no way inferior to Woodwose's. In the blink of an eye, she broke the sound barrier!

Her blade seemed imbued with magic, continuously disrupting Woodwose's charges, claw strikes, and breath attacks. Time and again, she stifled his techniques before they could fully form, leaving Woodwose thoroughly frustrated.
