Chapter 1198 - Chapter 1198

Chapter 1198: Only Knows to Find Pretty Princesses, How Despicable!

"Boom!"

With an ear-splitting roar, the orc as tall as a grizzly bear was sent flying backward like an arrow released from its bow.

Several orcs nearby, caught off guard, were struck by his body. Their frames trembled violently as if electrocuted, and in the blink of an eye, they lost all their strength, collapsing limply to the ground.

"Shoot! Shoot now!"

A leader-like male orc screamed in terror.

Over a dozen light machine guns extended their barrels from behind various covers. The rattling gunfire erupted abruptly, instantly filling the entire expanded island with deafening noise.

The bullets easily surpassed the speed of sound, with a rate of nearly eight hundred rounds per minute.

Supported by the orcs' formidable arm strength, the recoil seemed nonexistent.

Under such a barrage of bullets, not even Sasamiya could withstand it, and even Kasegi would have to temporarily retreat.

But that monster didn't dodge or evade.

He stood there boldly, his entire body seemingly completely undefended, facing the seemingly endless rain of bullets head-on.

"Ugh!"

"Gah!"

Without any visible movement, an orc hiding behind cover fell to the ground in disbelief.

Then came the second, the third.

In less than a second, over a dozen orcs armed with machine guns had all collapsed.

Countless bullet holes appeared on their bodies—some on their chests, some on their foreheads, some on their limbs—as if they had been struck by the very bullets they had fired. Even with the orcs' vitality, they couldn't withstand such severe injuries.

In contrast, the man across from them remained standing there, completely unscathed.

"Hmph, did you really think bullets would work on me?"

The man sneered contemptuously.

The moment the bullets touched his body, he vibrated his skin with astonishing reflexes, employing the Flawless technique with all his muscles in an instant.

Hundreds of bullets were effortlessly deflected back.

"You... you monster!"

The leader screamed in terror.

He pulled out a dagger glowing with red light and charged at him with all his might.

Eiji casually grabbed the wrist moving in slow motion and, with a slight squeeze, crushed the bones, eliciting a pig-like squeal of agony.

"Whoosh!"

Immediately after, he tossed the man aside.

The man didn't stop upon hitting a container but continued flying backward, dragging the container with him and knocking down over a dozen mechanical soldiers.

Eiji stepped forward, heading deeper into the island.

Metal doors blocking his path were kicked open with a single blow. Whether it was orcs or mechanical soldiers, they fell in droves before him like wheat.

On this island, Eiji moved as if he were in an unguarded territory.

"So impressive, young man! When did you learn such powerful martial arts?"

From the smartphone he held in his hand, Magouwei kept exclaiming in amazement.

For the first time, it began to doubt its own surveillance capabilities. Eiji had lived on this island for five years, yet it had no idea when he had mastered these martial arts techniques that clearly required years of rigorous training!

"None of your business. Tell me, have you handled the surrounding surveillance?"

Eiji's blunt reply made it sigh in a strikingly human-like manner.

"No problem, I've taken control of all surveillance on this island. Your appearance definitely won't be exposed. However, there are still eyewitnesses here. Are you sure it's okay to charge in so openly?"

After pausing briefly, it laughed again.

"Or are you planning to eliminate all eyewitnesses?"

"Don't slander me like that. I'm a law-abiding good citizen!"

Eiji glared discontentedly at Magouwei.

"I have a pre-prepared camouflage spell on me. At most, ordinary people can only see my outline unless I release the spell."

It was developed by Nina. Eiji had been using it since the Feast of Blazing Lights, basically sufficient for avoiding pedestrians and surveillance.

But it was still inadequate for evading Magouwei, who could monitor the entire Demon Sanctuary Island network.

"Let me ask you, Asagi still doesn't know my identity, right?"

"Nope, since she hasn't asked."

A mischievous smile appeared on Magouwei's ugly doll face.

"Ah, honestly, I'd really like to see the young lady's reaction when she finds out you're the Fourth True Ancestor!"

"For an AI, you have a really nasty personality."

"Giggle, when it comes to being nasty, no one can compare to you, young man. You've completely played both Asagi and the Lion King Organization's Maihime like fiddles!"

The ugly doll raised its hands in surrender to Eiji.

"Be careful or I'll sue you for slander! I just want everyone to feel the same burning love!"

Eiji retorted calmly and confidently.

"From my perspective, it just looks like teasing... Ah, turn left up ahead! We've arrived!"

Following Magouwei's directions, Eiji arrived before a sealed room deep in the additional island.

The Demon Sanctuary Island consisted of five main islands: east, south, west, north, and central.

But besides these, there were numerous additional islands scattered outside the main islands. Dozens had serial numbers alone, varying in size, with some even being gray areas unreachable by security teams.

This Ninth Additional Island was one such place.

"Who's there... Urgh!"

The beastman guarding the door was casually swatted away by Eiji.

"Boom!"

Then he kicked the room door open.

"Ara, has reinforcements arrived?"

A cheerful young girl's voice came from inside the room.

The princess, beautiful enough to be the reincarnation of the goddess of beauty, emerged with elegant steps.

Eiji raised an eyebrow.

"You?"

"You?"

Lavilia also looked at him with surprise.

Immediately after, her expression turned ambiguous, as if remembering something.

"Hey, Magouwei, aren't you worried about your master at all?"

Eiji lifted his phone, casting a contemptuous look at the screen.

Always going for the pretty princess, how despicable!

"Don't say that! The entire additional island is within my surveillance range. Asagi is perfectly safe right now! I just directed you based on proximity!"

Magouwei waved its hands repeatedly. Stop slandering me!

"Fine, where's the next location?"

"Leave it to me. This time it's the Six Blades lady from the Taishi Bureau."

After confirming with Magouwei, Eiji finally turned his attention to the princess.

She had been watching Eiji all along, her eyes shimmering with admiration for the AI, yet she never disturbed him, instead quietly observing.

"Mr. Minamoto Eiji, correct? Thank you very much for saving me."

Only when Eiji looked over did she lift the hem of her skirt and bow gracefully to him.

"As you heard, let's proceed to the next location."

"I shall follow your arrangements."

The princess replied compliantly.

Walking one after the other, they left the alleyway and headed toward the opposite side of the island.
