Gale Just Doing His own Thing
What followed was, thankfully, not overly complicated.
First, Veronica and Mateo informed them that another benefit they enjoyed was their ability to pick whatever subjects they wanted to study under the course, within said course of course. (A/n: English baby.)
As for how they would decide? Well, everyone in the group had been given a watch which looked simple at first glance, but upon closer inspection, it was pretty much a far better smartphone, but as a watch, but better.
It could bring up holographic screens that the user could physically interact with and have a whole bunch of features. From the basics, like communication and saving people's contact information, to a lot more advanced stuff.
The two Masters pretty much said that explaining everything the watches could do was a hassle, so they just gave them the basics and said they would figure out the rest themselves.
