A war between two races: Evolving into an SSS-ranked demonic celestial

The universe had been split into two halves. One half contained the celestials, and the other contained the demons. The demons and celestials had always lived in a constant conflict, always attempting to eradicate the other with every chance that they got. For thousands of years, the celestials had developed new ways to oppress the demons instead of trying to co exist without conflict, for it was their nature to rid the universe of demons. Amidst the whole chaos was Dean, a young adult that lived a normal and fruitless life. From birth as a demon, he had always strived to become someone of importance, but it seemed almost impossible due to his poor ability to increase his demonic rank. During his aimless journey, he came across a wave of celestial energy that somehow found its way into the demonic realm. Out of desperation, he absorbed the energy becoming half demon and half celestial. During his evolution, his view of the world changed. He was always thought to see the celestials as a for, but ever since he became part celestial, the pure hatred that he was thought to feel towards the celestials lessened, and he couldn't decide who was forth fighting for. Will Dean stand by the demonic race, protecting them from the celestials, and ignore the fact that they had always looked down on him for being weak? Or will his anger drive him to side with the celestials and being chaos upon the demonic race?
