After the little dance, Ella regained a sense of clarity.
She had made her decision months ago when she left Adrian's side and she wouldn't regret something she had done. It shouldn't matter to her even if Adrian acted like he lost his memories for a second time and refused to recognize her.
Except, it did matter and it mattered more than she had expected. But that did not mean she would act on those feelings.
After this party, she would probably never cross paths with Adrian again. What he did, who he was with, was none of her business.
After thinking to that point, Ella managed to regain her composure. She did not look at Adrian and Lilith again throughout the entire dance or even as Milo escorted her down the dance floor.
She excused herself and went to the washroom. After fixing her hair and dress, she applied some lip gloss, "What a beauty..."
