Zane was satisfied with his new law.

With a mere thought, it returned to his body, settling between the boundary of black and white within his mana core.

"The Solar Thread's grade is already S-Rank… and there's still room for improvement," he mused, a rare hint of joy in his voice.

Then, he sat down and began meditating.

The day passed quietly, with him devoting his time to studying the intricacies of the Solar Thread law.

The next morning, Zane woke up to find Shelby already there, watching him while licking bone marrow paste off his greasy fingers.

"Yo, good morning," Zane greeted with an amicable smile.

Shelby tossed a bundle of five cards toward him and said, "You can call out Erlin. Tell her big brother Shel did a real good job this time."

Zane glanced over the cards and chuckled.

"I haven't even got my Aerial or Water Driving Licenses yet. And she already has hers."

"Erlin," Zane called telepathically.
