Nolan and victor with his sister sat at back of carriage,they were waiting for the owner of the carriage as he went to buy some goods near , while they were waiting victor heard conversation near them he peeked to carriage left side and saw a merchant talking with a guard , victor listened to their conversation,
Merchant: you must got some news to tell me spill it out
Guard: well it's kind of big one so I need some thing right.
The guard showed his hands, the merchant even though annoyed put few silver coins in the guards hand and asked to tell , smiling like a sheep the guard started to talk.
Guard : Yesterday night near the eastern market a inn owner and his employees all are found dead in their inn,
Merchant : you mean all the inn employees but what's there to say as big one ?
Guard : just listen,a customer of the inn found their bodies when he went to take a leak ,we have few veteran's in my group so we analysed wounds on bodies and found small hole like wound which is weird as they aren't done by anything we knew and it's definitely not magic , when we checked the wounds deep found small metal piece and it was taken by the magicians for research, while everyone is dead by the metal piece ,the inn owner was found hanging and before his death he was beaten pretty bad.
Merchant : did you guys got any clues about who done this
Guard : yes ,we have some doubts on few gangs ,we asked a kid who works in the inn ,and found the inn owner helped to abduct some kids to a gang .
Merchant : abducting children that inn owner has some guts ,he must be rotting in hell ,what did your captain said?
Guard : our captain haven't came yesterday as he must be with his mistress, again as usual our deputy captain is dealing with the mess.
While they spoke about other things happening in the city ,the merchant who went to buy some goods came back and prepared his carriage to move , victor who listened the guard's words looked at nolan but said nothing as he knew victor can't do anything to repay nolan's help ,so he just prayed for nolan's well being in his heart.
when the carriage moved they waited in line to reach the gate after sometime at their turn ,guard's checked the carriage and asked identification,nolan showed his merchant ID and gave the tags they got when entering the city after confirming everything the guard's ordered to move , moving through gate, the carriage took a right turn,after traveling some distance nolan asked the merchant "how many days will it take to reach Robilestain " .
The merchant replied him" it will take 8 or 9 days and if you guys need any food just ask me ,I will give you with reasonable price" ,nolan gave a smile after that they didn't spoke much through the travel ,when the sun started to set the merchant stopped his carriage side of road and asked nolan to set a camp while the merchant will attend his horse with the help of victor the camp was prepared before darkness and started to make porridge with the merchant's and their rations after dinner ,nolan took the night watch, while others are asleep he opened market and texted the system after few minutes system gave him a reply
System : what do you need ?
Nolan : I need explanation about exp .
System : okay I will explain only once about this,now if you kill a goblin you will get 50 exp,if it's a orc the exp will be 250 like this the more powerful monster you kill the more exp you will get and if you kill a human you can get only 1 exp but if you kill a bad guy like a person who done harm to others for his selfish desires will have same exp like monster's and their is also another method like if a person kill a monster or a human with a weapon bought in market or made with material from market, you will get half the exp.
Nolan : what about status.
System : well status consists Strength , Stamina, Endurance,Agility,Mana, Intelligence, Sensitivity,Luck
Nolan : what about the numbers and what is sensitivity
System : that numbers are called points ,let me give you a example if a point added to your stamina it will increase by 5 % ,you can get points by leveling up or leveling up the life orb with exp which is also your HP don't worry it doesn't have any level limit and achievements will also give you some points ,as for sensitivity it works like a 6th sense if any kind of hidden danger approaching the user can be detected with this skill.
Nolan : so this sensitivity skill works like spider sense but why did you gave a lame name to this skill, can't I change this skills name?
With some annoyed tone the system replied
System : you can call it whatever but as per system rules this skill should be addressed as sensitivity and don't contact me for a while as I am going be busy ,and don't worry about the market it will work as usual.

After Looking at his status nolan wanted to ask some doubts but he decided to ask next time, after closing status he started the night watch and it reminded him the night patrol's he done as newbie in the army, after couple of hours the merchant guy asked to switch but nolan insisted that he will do the night watch ,when the merchant guy was asleep nolan took his weapon's and started to do some maintenance as he didnt get the time after the noble incident, completing the maintenance he started write his plans after reaching robilestain with some instant coffee powder from the market which is G washington Coffee which is old brand, finnally the sun started to rise,the merchant guy was the first one to wake up and asked nolan to take some rest while they will make some food ,after finishing their breakfast they started to move ,the journey went smoothly and saw few merchants caravan's and carriage's , nolan didn't get much sleep on move but he got some rest to relax when they took some break for the horses to rest, when the sun started to set they made a camp , finishing their dinner victor took the night watch until midnight and nolan switched with him ,the next day during their travel merchant guy asked them some questions and nolan told few lies and as usual they set the camp before sun set ,
The merchant guy asked nolan that he will make the dinner as thanks for doing the night watch ,after sometime the dinner was served in bowls , victor even though hungry took spoonfull porridge to feed his sister but he was stopped by nolan holding his bowl,who looked at the merchant guy eating some black bread and asked a question " why did you mix nacali powder in the food " the merchant guy spoke normally but if closely observed his voice may sound with panicked tone before he could talk much nolan punched the merchant guy on face with his left hand which knocked out the merchant .
