Chapter 7 - Ghosts Hunter: The Twisted Path Arc — Part 1

Early in the morning, Isaki was about to pour water on Teo to wake him up. But when he entered Teo's room, he froze — Teo was already awake, sitting cross-legged in the center, training to unlock his Star Energy.

Isaki: "Good morning, Teo. Training already?"

Teo: "Good morning, Master. Yeah, I'm practicing," — he said with a smile.

Isaki: "Good. Then let me help you. Oh, and take your Hunter weapon with you."

He then pulled out a small box, murmured a short incantation, and suddenly trapped Teo inside it using his power.

Teo: "Hey, Master! What's this for?!"

Isaki: "That's your Hunter weapon. To unlock its true abilities, you must merge with it. Only then can you draw out its full power."

Teo: "I see... So that's what this is about. Alright, what do I do now?"

Isaki: "Simple — survive. Good luck."

With that, Isaki closed the box. The inside of the box turned dark — almost like a void. Stones around Teo began to move, and from the darkness, strange puppet-like creatures emerged, reaching out to attack him.

Teo quickly drew his Hunter blade and started running. At first, everything seemed manageable, but soon he found courage and began fighting back. Just then, dark energy began to leak out from the box.

Outside, Isaki placed his hand on the box — and instantly burned his palm.

He stepped back, shocked.

> "No way... Could it really be him?"

Inside the box, Teo continued to fight fiercely. But suddenly — his katana cracked and shattered. He froze in disbelief. The reason was simple:

If a Hunter's Star Energy is weak, their weapon becomes fragile — or even breaks entirely.

Teo, now holding only half a blade, kept fighting with one hand. But with little experience and low energy, he was soon overwhelmed and fell to his knees.

Isaki tried to open the box with all his strength, but nothing worked. The energy barrier was sealed tight.

Desperate, he tried to reach Teo through telepathic communication.

Isaki: "Teo! Can you hear me?! Listen to me carefully!"

Teo: "Master! I can hear you! My weapon… it broke!"

But the signal was unstable. Isaki's voice faded, only his last words came through clearly:

> "Listen, Teo… if your weapon is broken… then that means you are the weapon… yes… you…"

And then — silence.

Teo stood there, confused but burning inside.

Teo: "Alright… then I'll do it my way."

The darkness around him trembled violently.
