Teo: "Hm, so I have to handle everything on my own, huh…" he muttered, trying hard to recall the drawings Isaki had shown him earlier.
But before he could focus, the dolls began to chase him from behind. The more he tried to remember, the harder it became — his mind clouded with fear and confusion.
Then he thought,
"Why isn't my broken katana repairing itself? Or... maybe it's not even my true hunter weapon?"
He kept running, but suddenly the time timer malfunctioned, and the dolls started growing larger, their massive arms reaching out to strike Teo.
Outside, the light and aura around the area began to intensify.
Isaki, watching from afar, shouted nervously:
"He's inside... and unarmed! Or worse — his weapon is broken! Whatever happens, we must stop them before the dolls reach stage three!"
Meanwhile, Teo's body was beginning to fill with strange energy. He realized — his old weapon was gone forever; it wouldn't recover. He needed a new one.
So Teo stopped running, clenched his fists, and began to gather his star energy into one point. He decided to fight with his bare hands, though he had no real combat training.
Teo:
"Blood for blood, life for life!"
"I won't give up that easily!"
He began fighting hand-to-hand, channeling energy into his strikes, trying to create his own original technique.
Then, charging toward one of the creatures, he swung his right hand filled with condensed energy — but one of the dolls grabbed him mid-attack and smashed him into the wall with brutal force.
As pain spread through his body, Teo almost lost hope. But something deep inside him — a voice, a feeling — whispered: Don't give up.
He stood again. Then again. Four times in total. Each time weaker, yet more determined.
Teo:
"Hhh… I won't give up that easily!"
"No! I won't stop until I win!"
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
He screamed and launched another flurry of attacks, but the dolls remained unaffected.
Panting, Teo rose once more, starting to train his body mid-battle — jumping, dodging, forcing his energy to flow faster.
Then the dolls entered their third phase. Their movements became so fast that Teo could barely even track them with his eyes.
He suddenly felt something strange — a familiar sensation awakening inside him.
"I won't die… not that easily!" — he roared.
A moment later, one of the dolls struck him with its full power. The impact was overwhelming — Teo blacked out.
When he opened his eyes again, he was no longer in the battlefield.
He found himself inside his own consciousness, facing a massive, shining sword.
The weapon's handle glowed faintly, and the edges curved into the shape of a crescent moon.
Teo:
"Could this… be my weapon? Hey, you— what's your name?"
A deep, echoing voice replied from the sword:
"I have no name. You must give me one."
Teo:
"So that's how it works? Fine then…"
"From now on, your name is Black Comet."
"Awaken!"
The sword blazed with light as Teo reached out and grasped it —
his new weapon, the Black Comet, had finally awakened.
To be continued…
