Dante woke up feeling like shit. Not that he got much sleep to begin with. The loathsome voice kept coming back, never giving him the chance to wind down and rest. Its taunting remarks got louder, sharper, and just when he thought it went away, the sound of gentle waves would come to replace it.
Shower, coffee, then a long ride. His morning routine was the same as it had been the last couple of days. There weren't too many deliveries that day, so he didn't spend much time traveling around. One thing he noticed was the increase in black spots on his 3D model of the world. From the looks of it, most major cities now had spatial inhibitors installed. Some only covered certain areas, while others continued to expand their range, as if they were aiming to cover every last building within their border.
