Eleanor could feel her energy slowly dwindling. She was certain that, at the rate the monsters were coming, she would not be able to hold out for long. She knew this battle was meant to hone her spear mastery, and she was consciously relying on simple spear techniques, using her bloodline abilities as little as possible.
But with the sheer number of monsters attacking her without pause, she had no time to rest, think, or judge properly. She was forced to depend on her basic bloodline abilities simply to control the battlefield and remain alive.
After the first few exchanges, she began using lightning less and less. Compared to her other abilities, lightning consumed a far greater portion of her energy. She could only afford to maintain a minimal lightning loop, enough to shock her enemies whenever her spear struck.
