Eleanor stopped drawing in lightning and focused instead on purifying what already existed within her. It took nearly a thousand cycles of circulation to refine the lightning to a satisfactory level. The new space created within her basins and body through the compression of purified lightning was ready to receive another influx of energy.
She began the process again. Her Palm and Step Basins started absorbing lightning once more, purifying it and sending it onward to the next basins, from where it gradually spread throughout her body.
Once again, she felt full and halted the absorption. Another purification cycle followed. Then another round of absorption. This process repeated until Eleanor felt there was no way to draw in any more lightning, her body now brimming with refined lightning energy.
