Eleanor woke from her sleep late at night. At first, she did not realise she had slept for so long. To her, it had felt like barely an hour. After confirming with Nora, she had no choice but to accept the reality.
"It seems I was far more tired than I imagined. Luckily, no beasts found this place during that time. I really had a satisfying sleep," she said.
Nora agreed. "Since arriving here, you have barely rested. Your body needed that sleep. There were no risks, so I allowed you to sleep undisturbed. However, the night is not over yet. There are still a couple of hours before sunrise. Aside from some insects scattered around the area, I sense no creatures nearby. You can use this time to familiarise yourself with your new abilities."
"Have I gained new abilities?" Eleanor asked, genuinely surprised.
