Chapter 337 - The Polling Day

While Eleanor slept peacefully in the unfamiliar land of Vanaheim, the long-awaited voting was drawing to a close in the Kingdom. The counting results began to emerge in fragments, and with them came the slow revelation of a future. The campaign headquarters, a converted warehouse in Westminster, had become a nerve centre suspended between time zones.

 

Baron Anthony Hayward Chapman sat in the central seat of the rear meeting room. Baron John Constantine, Baroness Angela Dodson, and Baron Ernest Prentice sat beside him, as usual. The four had become almost inseparable during the campaign. A few other party leaders were seated with them as well.
