Unsurprisingly, Lyla lost the third game, losing the final match.
Well, she had brought it upon herself. Should she have taken Felix on his kind offer (which he had extended only because Remi had helped him cheat, which is why he was even in the position to make such an offer), she probably would have won, or at least would have had a good chance to do so.
But no. She was stubborn, she refused, and thus, the victory, and that unfortunate favor coupon went to Felix.
"Congratulations…" Lyla muttered, bowing her head at Felix. "It was… a good game."
Surprisingly… She accepted her defeat pretty easily. Although her face was filled with bitter disappointment, she didn't try to argue the results. Yes, even if she had, it would mostly make her look bad, as there were countless witnesses, and there was no way that Felix could have cheated (ahem, ahem…), but still. Felix kind of expected her to at least throw a tantrum.
But she didn't.
"Thanks," Felix bowed his head in return.
