Hamar woke up, opening his eyes and sitting up. He felt his injuries start to stitch the selves up and groaned, "It feels like I really need to just take a good amount of time and save up aura..."
He cracked his neck and complained, "I keep on running out of aura ughh."
He felt goosebumps and shivered, he threw of the blanket he had over him and stood up. He put this hand over his chest as he observed his body.
"Though with pain and depleting aura, it comes with benefits. The more you deplete the aura and push yourselves, the bigger your reserves can be."
He observed his body and nodded, approving the benefits he got. But at the same time he frowned, as he progressed in his aura cultivation his connection to Hou's body weakens.
Inside his body another voice appeared, "That won't last much longer..." It was Hou's split soul.
Hamar sighed, "I can tell, soon enough it will be destroyed completely. I bet if I try to take any laws out of it right now, it would destroy itself....could you try to refresh the magic?"
Hou's split soul 'shook his head', "Impossible. Even if I had the knowledge, which I don't, I would need the main body here too. But at least we don't need this anymore, didn't you already find where main body was?"
Hamar walked out of the room he found himself in as he continued speaking, "That's true but it felt like a reassurance that Hou was fine, you know?" He sighed deeply and cracked his back as he walked.
Looking around, Hamar realised where he was and spoke in a quiet murmur, "Master..."
As soon as he spoke, the walls shimmered and a pink miasma leaked out of the floorboards. The miasma coalesced and formed itself into a human form.
It bowed deeply, "Master Hamar, Grandmaster Mo Huai has told me to help you in anyway I can!"
Hamar covered his mouth and chuckled, as he did he coughed up lightly, "What do you know...it what are you willing to tell me?"
"About the plans to deal with Yi Sect, Master?"
Hamar nodded and tapped his foot. The miasma butler paused for a moment before looking up and answering, "Nothing sire..."
Hamar squeezed his fists tight, "Nothing?" He smiled angrily towards the miasma construct.
The construct did not falter and looked side to side, "Well... I can tell you that the greatest minds of the righteous sects have come together. And that shortly they will announce to the world their public war against Yi Sect."
"Won't that just make Yi Sect speed up?"
The miasma creation smiled smugly, "Do not think so lightly on the greatest minds of the world...that is certainly a possibility but they have worked hard to find the most likely result."
"Which is?" Hamar tapped his foot again, getting frustrated at the lack of knowledge.
"The most likely result is that Yi Sect will wish to speed up but due to pressure have to go even more hidden and in fact, slow down."
Hamar looked into the miasma butler for a few moments before he walked to the side of it and patted its shoulder, "Fine. Tell me exactly when that happens. For now, I need a place with the least laws possible."
The miasma construct paused for a moment before it turned around and jumped in surprise, "The least laws?!"
Hamar laughed and gestured for the butler to follow, "Yes, do you know any places?"
The miasma butler jogged to catch up and looked around trying to consult it's database, "I do have a few options, but are you sure this is what you want?"
"Yes, I do not do law cultivation. I have no need for them, just trust me."
The butler stuttered as it answered Hamar's request, "Then the most easily accessible place with the least laws would be a fighting arena."
"A fighting arena...why would that be?"
The miasma butler opened the door for Hamar to exit as they combined to walk, "Those high end fighting arenas contain as little laws as possible to make sure the fights inside are as unbiased as possible. If the air was full of a certain law, it could allow one opponent to win and another to lose."
Hamar made a noise of satisfaction, "So where do we want to go?"
"Well the best place to go would be the fighting capital of the Nine Clouds Sect!"
"Which is?" Hamar had not explored the sect too much, and did not have extensive knowledge.
"It would be the Nine Clouds Future Stillness' domain, the capital Future-City!"
Hamar paused and looked back, "Future City?"
The butler looked towards Hamar smugly, "Indeed Future City. It is a beautiful place which has the strongest enchantment in the world! Inside is an amazingly 'futuristic' city but as soon as you leave, your memories will only recall it as looking ordinary!
"Futuristic how?"
"How would I know? Did I not just say, you cannot remember what it looks like while inside..."
"But you're a creation from an Elder, even you cannot recall?"
"Just because I am a creation from an Elder does not mean I am the Elder. And even so, I was created a time ago when Grandmaster was the weakest of Elders, even he could not recall through the enchantment."
"But he can now?"
"Perhaps if he visited the city again, perhaps not. Do not take lightly when I said it was the most advanced enchantment in the world."
Hamar nodded and turned to his front. While they were talking, they had walked through to the teleportation gate of this house.
He finished through his robe and pulled out a token, it had his name inscribed and would validate his authority. He sent in a few thoughts carried by mental energy, which indicated where he wished to go.
Then he threw the token into the air, it was attracted to the centre of the huge circular ring of stone. It floated there and wisps of miasma connected it to the edge of the ring.
They continued to communicate until the stone ring begun to spin and white clouds covered the entire hole in the centre, then shimmered.
Through the something smoke, Hamar could see vague tall shapes. He used a wisp of aura to grab back his token and looked beside him.
"Follow me."
The miasma butler nodded and stepped forward, "you first, Master"
Hamar nodded and jumped through the teleportation circle, soon after the miasma man followed.
