Somehow, Alex managed to leave without giving an explanation to Simon and Phil; although they promised to get a response from him the next time they had the chance.
Mia once again offered to give the family a ride home, and they didn't try to refuse like the previous time and were soon on their way. Along the way, Emily couldn't stop talking about the tournament today and saying how cool Alex was.
