Year: 982 (Earth Year)
Place: Asgard Palace
----Loki Pov
After telling my family what I had done in the pocket dimension, they were surprised. Creating my own unique energy -just like Odin did in his youth with the Odinforce- strengthening my body, utilizing my Story Divinity and Storysand (such as creating things), and even planning to have my own World Tree as a soul realm in the future all left them astonished.
After talking with them and making sure nothing was wrong, I teleported to my room.
Over the past two months, Sif, my future wife had a steadily growing belly. The palace maids ended up leaking the news of her pregnancy to all of Asgard. Normally, they wouldn't have said anything if we had explicitly told them to keep it a secret. But since we didn't, they spread the news far and wide.
Now, everyone in Asgard knows that Sif is pregnant with my child.
After teleporting to my room, I found Sif sitting, caressing her belly. Sif, seeing me, became very happy and her smile widened. "My prince, you came back," she said as she got up and hugged me.
"Of course, my wife. I told you I would come back," I said. I told her to sit down and started checking on our child.
Our child seemed male, but I didn't want my first child to be male. Why? Because he would not have much potential with the divinity he was supposed to awaken. He would awaken the divinity of Beauty, Lust, and Loyalty.
Why would a male have the divinity of Beauty? I didn't understand, so I decided to change his gender to female. I used my Story Divinity to open the storybook of my child. Sif, seeing this, was surprised and wondered what this book was.
"This book is the storybook of our child, Sif," I said as I started to change some things from his, now her book.
First, I changed his gender to female. I strengthened her Divinity of Beauty and Loyalty to High Divinity (they were Mid-tier divinities). And I made her Lust Divinity a True Divinity. I couldn't change much of her divinity because I wasn't strong enough, but if I was, I would have made all of them True Divinities.
After doing this, I also gave her my Storysand. My Storysand energy could further strengthen her divinities, but not enough to upgrade them—she would need to train and make them her own.
Though there are side effects from bestowing my Storysand to another being, they aren't bad. The bodies of those I gave Storysand would mutate, and for my girl, it would be horns and wings.
After doing all this, I decided to read a little bit of her story, and boy… I really shouldn't have. No matter what I did, no matter what I changed, her Divinity of Loyalty would inevitably choose me as the one she was loyal to. And that very loyalty would trigger her Divinity of Lust so she would feel an overwhelming desire for me and inevitably fall in love with me.
I tried to change the direction of her Loyalty Divinity, but she would kill the person she was bound to as "unworthy" and then return to me. So I sighed and accepted that I would have my daughter as one of my wives.
Hearing my sigh, Sif thought something was wrong and asked, "What is wrong, Loki? Why did you sigh? Will our child have a problem you can't solve? What will we do? We should ask All-Father for help? Or..." I stopped her from spiraling further.
"Our child won't have a problem. It's just… she will fall in love with me," I said.
After hearing that, her worries disappeared. Instead, she asked me happily, "We will have a daughter?"
"Yes, Sif."
She smiled widely and then said, "You will take her as one of your wives, right? You won't let some nobody take our daughter," her voice carrying both warmth and a hint of anger.
"Yes, I will. It is inevitable," I said.
"Good. Tell me about her," she said. She knew I could see her future, so of course she wanted to know.
"Nope. If you know too much, some things will change," I said.
She grumbled. "At least tell me what you will name her?"
I smiled. "I will name her Albedo. Albedo Lokidottir."

----A few days later, The Beginning of the War
"Are you ready?" Odin asked Hela, Tyr, Balder, Frigga, Freyja, Elsa, Bestla, and Loki. In this war, Thor, Nanna, Karnilla, and Astrid would stay in Asgard, protecting it, while Loki would have a contest with the Norns over the fate of Asgard.
"We are, Father. How many times have you asked this already?" Hela said.
After making sure everyone was ready, Odin turned to Loki. "Loki, start taking control of the fate of Asgard from the Norns. The moment you say yes, we will teleport," he said.
Loki nodded and began using his Story Divinity to attack the Norns' hold on fate. His mind expanded as he stared at the fate lines connecting to Asgardians, Aesir Gods, Vanir Gods, and Asgard itself.
He first secretly severed the Norns' hold over the Asgardian people. They didn't notice since they weren't actively severing or rewriting fate at that moment, but if they had been, they would have realized immediately.
Next, he gathered his Storysand and, in one attack, tried to take control of the fate of all Asgard. The Norns, who weren't expecting this, were surprised.
"What is happening?"
"Someone is stealing our control over the fate threads!"
"Quick, fight back!"
The Norns tried to resist but stood no chance against the power of Storysand. Had they been prepared, they might have resisted Loki's Storysand more effectively, but even then, they would have eventually lost control over the threads of fate.
"I got it, Father. The Norns are out. They are fighting back, but they can't take control of Asgard's fate again," Loki said.
The others nodded. They knew it was impossible for the Norns to fight against a person's unique energy, especially one tied to fate manipulation. The Norns could fight Odin's Odinforce because it was mostly about attack, and Those Who Sit Above in Shadow helped them.
After making sure everything was fine, Odin teleported everyone who would fight to the Dwelling of Those Who Sit Above in Shadow. TWSABIS, seeing Odin and his family, were surprised. The Norns were supposed to warn them if Odin did anything other than stay in his world.
"So you came to die, Odin," the leader of TWSABIS said.
"No. We came to kill you and free the Nine Realms from your control," Odin said.
"Do you seriously think you can defeat us, Odin? Us, who even defeated your grandfather and father to bring Ragnarok over and over again?"
"Hahahaha!" TWSABIS laughed as they mocked Odin.
Odin didn't get angry, fully aware they were trying to provoke him and his family into mistakes.
"Attack!" Odin yelled.
They charged, with Odin facing the enemy leader, a God of Light corrupted by shadows.
Odin struck with Gungnir, but the corrupted God of Light used his Divinity of Light to subtly alter perception, making himself appear slightly to the left. As a result, Gungnir veered off course, and in that moment, the corrupted god countered with a sword strike.
Hela and her army of the dead clashed against the second strongest foe—the Goddess of the Hunt, also corrupted by shadows.
Using her Divinity of the Hunt, the Goddess summoned men and beasts with magical properties from beyond the grave, calling forth all those she had hunted to fight against Hela's undead legions.
Seeing this, Hela smirked. "Stealing my own technique?" she said as she summoned her Necrosword.
"Haah? Me, stealing from you, a lowly death god? You wish!" the Corrupted Goddess of the Hunt shouted angrily, summoning her hunting bow.
Without hesitation, she unleashed a flurry of arrows toward Hela, marking the beginning of her hunt. Hela summoned Necroswords over and over, firing them toward her opponent.
Their armies clashed, tearing apart each other's bodies. Hela's commander, a Dullahan, fought against the other army's commander, a high elf. The Dullahan won the fight as the high elf couldn't truly damage him.
Cul and Balder fought against the corrupted God of War, determined not to let him draw strength from the ongoing conflict. To ensure this, they erected a special barrier, designed specifically for this occasion, to prevent him from absorbing power from the war.
Cul, using his Divinity of Fear, drew strength from stored fear in himself, empowering both himself and Balder while simultaneously weakening their opponent. Meanwhile, Balder invoked his Divinity of Light, launching a barrage of light constructs at the corrupted God of War.
The Vanir Gods attacked their opponent -the Goddess of Battle and Insanity- with almost perfect coordination. Though she was losing at first, she grew stronger the longer the fight continued.
Using her Divinity of Insanity, she disoriented one of them for half a second. In that moment, she attacked, and just as she was about to kill the god she disoriented, the other Vanir gods saved him. They redoubled their efforts, trying to end the fight early.
Odin's wives -Frigga, Elsa, and Freyja- dominated their fight against the weakest of TWSABIS: the God of Corruption. They found it ironic that a God of Corruption had been corrupted by shadows.
Though powerful, he had almost no combat experience, always relying on scheming and others to fight for him. His followers, whom he had corrupted, did not answer his calls, leaving him vulnerable and nearly defeated.
Meanwhile, in Asgard, armies clashed. Jotunheim attacked, hoping to reclaim their Casket of Ancient Winters. With most of the Aesir and Vanir gods gone, they thought it the perfect opportunity.
The hope of Jotunheim was at an all-time high. They believed that once they reclaimed the Casket, they could defeat the Aesir and Vanir gods. Their king, Laufey, slaughtered soldier after soldier as he advanced toward the walls of Asgard.
His advance was stopped by Balder's wives and Thor. "Give me the Casket of Ancient Winters, and I will pardon your lives," Laufey demanded.
"Hah, without the Casket of Ancient Winters, you can't possibly think you can defeat us, Laufey!" Karnilla said with a smirk.
Hearing this, Laufey grew enraged. They were mocking him! He, the King of Jotunheim!!. He attacked with a roar.
"RoooAAR! I WILL KILL YOU!"
While all of this happened, Loki was sitting with Astrid in his room. They chatted, smiling and laughing. Things were pretty boring for Loki, as he didn't have to do anything, his Storysand was unbeatable for the Norns.
To his delight, Astrid came to speak with him. She, too, was bored, but her maids convinced her not to leave the palace. Sighing, she went to Loki's room to chat with him.

[A/N: I won't write much about the war, about how they fight etc. I will just quickly finish it. As in the comics nothing is known about Those Who Sit Above The Shadows so I had to improvise about their divinities. I do not want to go much in detail so the war will be over quickly.]
