TOKYO...

Tokyo International Airport...

The sliding doors of Tokyo International Airport parted with a soft hiss,

And Rudra stepped out into the bustling morning flow of Japan.

Layla trailed behind him,

Wide-eyed at the sheer number of people,

While Gwen kept scanning the surroundings with that calculating calm she always had.

Both of them carried their luggage.

Rudra lifted his travel bag and gestured toward the taxi lane.

"We grab a cab to Tokyo Station,"

He said.

"From there we—"

He didn't complete the sentence.

QUAAACK!

"...."

"...."

"...."

A loud QUAAACK! echoed through the air.

Followed by.

"STOP RIGHT THERE, YOU FEATHERED FREAK!"

Layla froze.

"...."

Gwen stopped walking.

Rudra blinked, turning toward the commotion.

And there —

Barreling through the airport curb like a steroid-boosted nightmare —

Was a villain with a giant duck head, white feathers coating a body shaped like a competitive bodybuilder.

His arms were thick enough to bench-press cars,

And his beaked face was twisted into a furious snarl.

Rudra stared.

"…I'm hallucinating,"

He muttered.

Layla covered her mouth.

"P-Professor… is that—"

Gwen deadpanned.

"…a Duck?"

The villain quacked aggressively.

"QUAAACK! Hand over your money or I'll pluck every last one of you!"

Rudra felt a distant nostalgia —

Memories of cartoons from his previous life flickering across his mind in disbelief the villan looked exactly like Donald Duck.

Before any of them could react—

A voice boomed from above.

"WOOD LOCK: BINDING LANCE!"

A streak of motion swung into view —

Roots whipping through the air like living ropes.

Kamui Woods,

Japan's newly rising star hero,

Descended from a nearby lamppost with the grace of someone who jumped off buildings for fun.

His wooden limbs extended,

Spiraling around the duck villain with perfect precision.

The villain quacked in outrage as the vines tightened.

"QUA—ACK! LET ME GO YOU TREE TRASH!"

Kamui Woods landed elegantly.

"Villain neutralized,"

He declared sharply.

"You're under—"

Then his eyes slid to Rudra.

Recognition flashed.

"...."

The kind all heroes felt when they saw someone who radiated strength without trying.

Rudra gave a polite nod.

-Nod

Layla and Gwen exchanged looks —

The oh-no-he-recognized-you kind.

Kamui Woods blinked again.

"…Ra-One?"

He whispered.

Rudra winced.

So much for a quiet arrival.

Meanwhile, the duck villain kept struggling in the vines.

"QUAAACK! WHY IS EVERYONE IGNORING ME?!"

Kamui Woods tightened the bindings.

"Be quiet. You're under arrest."

Then, turning back to Rudra,

He approached with a respectful bow.

"Ra-One. I wasn't informed you'd be arriving today."

Rudra smiled faintly.

"I wasn't informed either. Trust me."

Kamui Woods straightened.

"Should I arrange escort transport to U.A. or the Hero Public Safety Commission?"

Rudra shook his head.

"No escort. I'm not here as a guest."

He motioned at Layla and Gwen.

"I need to establish my agency and secure hero operation permits first. We'll manage."

Kamui Woods nodded, admiration clear in his eyes.

-Nod

"I look forward to working with you. Can you sign me a autograph... I am your biggest fan."

He bowed again, then dragged the quacking villain away —

Whose furious yells echoed across the curb.

"QUAAACK! LET ME GO! I'LL—QUAACK!!"

Layla burst into giggles.

-Giggle

Gwen smirked.

-Smirk

Rudra rubbed the bridge of his nose.

"…Welcome to Japan, I guess."

Layla looped her arm around Gwen's.

"This is going to be fun!"

Gwen corrected her, eyes glinting.

"This is going to be dangerous."

Rudra glanced at them both.

"Both,"

He muttered to himself.

"Now let's get that cab before another cartoon character shows up."

They walked toward the taxi line.

The three of them were just about to continue toward the cab lane when—

BOOOOOOM!

A blast shook the ground.

Car alarms wailed.

Windows rattled.

People screamed and ducked.

"...."

"...."

"...."

Rudra spun around instantly.

A sedan in the pickup lane had erupted into flames,

The chassis twisted upward like a peeled tin can.

Smoke curled into the sky in thick black ribbons.

From within that smoke…

Something stepped out.

Something impossible.

Rudra's eyes narrowed.

-Frown

"…No way."

Layla grabbed his arm.

"Professor… what is that?"

Gwen's pupils shrank,

Her technopathy instinctively scanning the thing's grotesque body.

Rudra whispered the word that should not exist yet.

A word that didn't belong here—

Not for until USJ incident.

"Nomu."

A towering, muscle-stuffed monster lumbered forward.

Glossy black skin stretched over its grotesque form.

Spine exposed.

Brain pulsing under glass like membrane.

Each step trembled the street.

And its eyes—

Those milky, dead eyes—

Locked onto one person.

Him.

A shrill screech broke from its throat.

Screech!

Then it dashed.

Ran across asphalt in a blur of savage force.

Cars were crushed under its feet like soda cans.

People fled, screaming.

Kamui Woods reacted first.

"WOOD WALL: BARRICADE!"

Roots exploded from the pavement,

Thick as pillars,

Forming a wooden barricade—

—only for the Nomu to smash through it with one brutal swing, splinters flying like bullets.

Kamui's eyes widened.

"...."

"What… the…?!"

The Nomu didn't even slow down.

It had one target.

Ra-One.

Rudra exhaled once.

-Sigh

"Get back,"

He told the girls.

Layla pulled Gwen back instinctively.

Rudra stepped forward.

And then his body shimmered.

A cascade of glowing red cubes rippled across his form —

Like molten metal rearranging itself.

SSSHHH-CHHK!

His hero suit assembled around his body like an advanced nano-system synchronizing into place.

The chest plates lined with pulsing crimson.

Armguards locking.

Mask forming over his face.

Two bright red eyes ignited under the hood.

The air around him crackled.

The Nomu howled and lunged.

Rudra moved.

One step forward —

A faint golden spark flickered around his feet.

Kamui shouted,

"Ra-One! Be careful—!!"

Rudra didn't answer.

He braced one knee, lowered his center of gravity…

…and then his fist ignited with golden Brahmastra energy.

The sound vanished for a heartbeat.

Everything slowed.

The Nomu's shadow fell over him like a monster in a nightmare.

Then—

BOOOOOOOOOOM!

A shockwave blasted outward as Rudra's punch collided with the Nomu's chest.

The monster went flying.

Not back.

Up.

Straight into the sky like a launched missile —

Breaking through an airport billboard with a thunderous crash.

Layla staggered back, hands over her mouth.

Gwen's eyes gleamed, whispering,

"That power… no matter how many times I see…"

Kamui Woods was completely stunned.

"...."

Then he remembered to breathe.

"…Th-that force… he sent that villan flying like it was nothing…"

Rudra lowered his fist,

Brahmastra energy crackling around his arm like golden lightning.

His masked eyes turned upward.

"…So, an early bio-test version. Someone's impatient."

Layla yelled,

"Professor—!!"

Gwen whispered,

"No… someone sent this thing SPECIFICALLY to kill him."

Rudra rolled his neck casually, suit humming with power.

"Alright then,"

He murmured.

Above them,

The Nomu roared mid-air as it recovered and began plummeting down at him again.

Rudra raised his hands.

Two golden blades condensed into existence.

And for the first time since arriving in Japan…

He smiled beneath the mask.

The Nomu hung suspended for a heartbeat—

Black muscles flexed, jaws splitting unnaturally wide—

Then—

It unleashed a torrent of fire.

A hellish wave of flame cascaded downward,

Bright enough to paint the airport terminal orange.

Civilians shrieked.

Kamui Woods shielded three terrified children with his wooden limbs.

Layla instinctively raised vines to block the flames even though she was far away.

Gwen's pupils constricted—

Heart hammering—

But Rudra didn't move.

"...."

Not even an inch.

His voice was a cold,

Steady whisper under the mask.

"…Fire won't touch me."

Golden-red Brahmastra energy coiled around his right hand,

Swirling into a dense sphere—

Smaller than a baseball—

But humming like a star.

The air rippled.

Concrete cracked beneath his feet.

He drew his arm back.

And threw.

SHHHHHH—KRACK!

The Brahmastra sphere tore through the inferno—

Parted the flames like Moses splitting a sea of fire—

And slammed straight into the Nomu's open mouth.

The creature froze mid-air.

Its eyes bulged.

A low gurgling growl escaped it—

Then its throat began to glow.

First orange.

Then red.

Then a blinding gold.

The light spread—

Down the neck.

Across the chest.

Through every vein.

Under every stitched muscle.

The Nomu's body swelled unnaturally—

Skin ballooning like it was holding back a sun—

Kamui Woods was little stunned by the display.

"WHAT—?!"

Layla too was.

"Professor—!!"

Gwen, breathless,

"Oh… my god…"

Rudra's modulated voice cut through the rising panic.

"Containment breach."

The Nomu convulsed—

Golden cracks spiderwebbing across its skin—

Energy leaking like molten metal—

And then—

BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!

A blinding flash.

A shockwave that rattled the terminal glass.

A roar that swallowed every scream.

The Nomu disintegrated into nothing—

Not dust.

Not ash.

Not flesh—

Just vapor, light, and silence.

When the smoke finally cleared—

Rudra stood alone in the center of the destruction.

Unscathed.

Unmoving.

His red mask-eyes glowing through the haze.

The ground around him was scorched.

Car alarms wailed in the distance.

A crater steamed beneath his boots.

Kamui Woods exhaled shakily.

-Sigh

"...."

"...."

"...."

Civilians stared.

Layla pressed a trembling hand to her mouth.

Gwen's face shifted—

Shock

Awe

And something softer—

"…That wasn't a hero move,"

She whispered.

"That was a god."

Rudra slowly lowered his arm.

Firelight reflected off his armor.

Smoke curled around him like a cloak.

Then he murmured through the mask—

"He was sent for me."

His eyes narrowed beneath the hood.

"Let them come."

The smoke was still thinning when the airport crowd finally found their voices.

Some screamed.

Some cried.

Some simply stared at the steaming crater where the Nomu had been.

And then—

A wave of cheers exploded.

-Cheers -Cheers

"HE BEAT IT!"

"THAT MONSTER—HE DESTROYED IT ALONE!"

"What KIND of quirk is that!?"

Civilians surged closer—

Phones raised—

Voices shaking with adrenaline.

Rudra didn't react.

He simply stood in the drifting smoke, suit glowing faintly, cape settling behind him.

But in the crowd—

A scrawny kid with messy hair and round glasses froze mid-recording.

His jaw dropped.

"...."

His phone slipped.

He fumbled and caught it.

"W–Wait… wait…"

He zoomed in on Rudra's armor—

On the glowing red lines—

On the mask—

On the flickering digital pattern across the chest.

His eyes went wide.

"NO. WAY."

A nearby elderly man glanced at him.

"You know this hero, son?"

The nerd swallowed hard.

-Gulp

Then,

With the trembling excitement of someone who finally saw a myth walk out of a screen,

He pushed his glasses up and declared.

"That—THAT is Ra-One."

The crowd fell silent.

"...."

Then the old man blinked.

"…Ra-One? Who's Ra-One?"

The nerd spun around, outraged that anyone could ask.

"America's—AMERICA'S NUMBER TWO PRO HERO!"

Gasps.

Shouts.

Cameras immediately pointed back to Rudra.

"WHAT!?"

"A foreign Rank 2 hero? HERE!?"

"No wonder he one-shotted that monster!"

"I watched his fight against one villan online—IT WAS INSANE!"

"Why's a top U.S. hero in Japan!?"

Murmurs flooded the air—

"He's the Ra-One!?"

"He's even scarier in person…"

"Was that even a quirk…?"

"He saved us—thank GOD he was here."

Layla hid a proud grin behind her hand.

-Grin

Gwen smirked like she already knew the truth before anyone else.

-Smirk

Meanwhile Rudra…

Simply turned slightly, smoke drifting off his gauntlet.

He didn't acknowledge the cheering.

He didn't raise his hand.

He just whispered into the wind—

"…Trouble has followed me here."

And somewhere far, far away—

A certain disfigured man in life-support machinery clenched his fist.

Police sirens blared across the airport drive,

Blue-red lights washing over the stunned crowd.

Officers pushed through the civilians while Kamui Woods stood tall,

Using his authority as the responding hero.

He explained the situation—

Quick, crisp, professional.

"Unknown dangerous threat. Contained. Civilian casualties: zero. Neutralization performed by international pro hero—heroname: Ra-One."

Behind him, Rudra stood motionless beside Layla and Gwen,

Both girls observing the commotion with very different expressions.

Layla, calm but proud.

"...."

"...."

Gwen, sharp-eyed, analyzing everything.

Then came the heavy footsteps.

A convoy of black SUVs slid to a halt.

A dozen agents in dark tactical suits stepped out—

The Hero Public Safety Commission of Japan.

Their leader, an older woman with steel-grey hair and a curt,

No-nonsense tone,

Approached Rudra with a narrow gaze…

But her voice held unmistakable respect.

"Ra-One. We received reports of your arrival… but not of your engagement."

Rudra's mask glowed faintly.

"It couldn't be helped."

She nodded once.

-Nod

"We'll handle the scene from here. You three—come with us. You have paperwork waiting."

Tokyo...

Hero Public Safety Commission Headquarters...

A massive holographic screen displayed Rudra's fight replayed from a dozen civilian angles.

Agents murmured.

Analysts typed rapidly.

The Nomu explosion video was already viral.

Layla frowned at the attention.

-Frown

"...."

Gwen grinned, enjoying how rattled the Commission looked.

-Grin

"...."

Inside a secure conference chamber,

The Commission placed thick folders before the trio.

"We have received confirmation from the U.S. Hero Public Safety Commission,"

The director said.

"With your credentials verified, Ra-One—you are now officially licensed to act as a Pro Hero within Japan."

He stamped the form.

A crisp, sharp thwack echoed.

-Thwack

Then he slid the new license card across the table.

Silver.

Stylized.

Sleek circuitry pattern glowing crimson.

JAPAN PRO HERO LICENSE – RA-ONE

Layla received hers too—

Provisional Foreign Hero License – Eden(her Hero name).

Gwen's was last—

Provisional Foreign Hero License – Techna(a name she gave suspiciously easily).

The director then looked at Rudra.

"There is also the matter of the hero agency you registered."

He flipped a page.

"The name you chose is unusual…"

Gwen leaned forward.

Layla blinked.

Rudra simply replied.

"S.H.I.L.D."

The director raised an eyebrow.

"What does it stand for?"

Rudra smiled faintly under the mask.

"Just SHILD nothing else."

The entire room paused.

"...."

"...."

"...."

And it was unlike anything Japan had on its roster.

The director exhaled slowly.

"Very well. Your hero agency is now approved. As of this moment—Ra-One, you are authorized to operate S.H.I.L.D. within our borders."

A holographic map flickered to life.

"Welcome to Japan… Ra-One."

After Half An Hour...

The Hero Public Safety Commission SUVs rolled away,

Leaving Rudra, Layla, and Gwen standing before U.A. High School—

Its gleaming towers rising proudly against the skyline.

A wind gust carried chalk dust, laughter,

And the distant thud of training impacts.

-Thud

The school felt alive in a way Sky High never did—

Disciplined, sharp, military-efficient…

A battleground disguised as an academy.

A man in a lime-green jacket and white scarf appeared at the entrance—

Blond, loud, and bursting with chaotic energy.

He grinned.

-Grin

"YOOOOO! Welcome, welcome, welcooome to U.A.! I'm Present Mic—English teacher, radio star, certified crowd-pleaser—AND your escort for today!"

Layla blinked.

-Blink

"...."

Gwen stared.

Rudra offered a polite nod.

-Nod

Present Mic leaned in with a whisper,

Hand to his mouth like sharing a secret.

"Gotta say, man… your entrance with that Villan? WHEW! The whole staff room nearly broke the sound barrier talking about it."

He straightened and gestured dramatically toward the main building.

"Follow me! Principal Nezu is dying to meet you!"

Inside U.A...

Principal's Office Hallway...

The polished marble floors reflected the trio's steps as they followed Present Mic.

Layla whispered,

"They're really disciplined… It's so different from Sky High."

Gwen's eyes darted across every surveillance camera, every automaton, every sensor.

Her technopathy hummed with data.

Rudra caught both reactions—

One full of awe,

One full of calculation.

Present Mic stopped before a tall lacquered door with Nezu's golden nameplate.

He clapped his hands together.

"Alright! Ra-One—your interview awaits!"

"Layla, Gwen—you two can chill here for now. Sorry, no peeking!"

Layla smiled warmly.

Gwen rolled her eyes but crossed her arms, leaning against the wall.

Mic knocked twice—

Rapid, stylish.

-Knock -Knock

"Principal Nezu! They're here!"

A soft, polite voice called from inside.

"Do come in."

Mic opened the door with a flourish,

Letting Rudra step through before gently closing it behind him.

Principal Nezu's Office...

The room was… unusual.

Part cozy tea room.

Part high-end laboratory.

Part war strategy center.

Charts, monitors, maps of Japan with red pins marking villain hotspots—

It felt like a general's chamber hidden beneath a harmless façade.

At the center sat Principal Nezu, legs crossed, sipping tea.

The chimera's black eyes gleamed with razor intelligence.

Beside him stood Aizawa Shota,

Leaning against the wall with his hands in pockets,

Eyes half-open but watching everything.

And next to him, quietly radiating a warm pressure—

All Might, in his muscular form, smiling gently but clearly tense.

It wasn't a normal interview panel.

It was an evaluation by three titans.

Nezu set his teacup down.

"Welcome to U.A., Ra-One. Or should I say… Rudra Eswar."

Rudra bowed his head slightly.

"Thank you for having me."

Nezu's smile widened—

Not kindly, but curiously.

"We've been expecting you ever since your little incident at the airport. Fascinating quirk—brahmastra, wasn't it?"

Aizawa finally spoke, voice low.

"You handled a that villan like it was a toy."

All Might added, quieter than usual.

"And… you saved people. That is the most important thing."

Nezu gestured to the seat opposite him.

"Please, sit. We have many questions."

Rudra took the seat calmly.

Nezu's tail swished.

"Let us begin."

The interview barely lasted ten minutes.

Nezu closed the file, tapped the papers twice, and offered Rudra a small, unreadable smile.

"Well then… one last question, Mr. Rudra. Or should I say—Ra-One."

His tone carried playful curiosity.

"Why U.A.? Why Japan? You were already thriving in America."

Rudra met the chimera's gaze calmly.

"I've taught in Sky High long enough to understand its rhythm. But I want to experience something new— new students, new culture, new challenges."

He paused, choosing his words.

"Teaching abroad… broadens a teacher as much as a student."

Aizawa's eyebrow twitched—

-Twitch

"...."

Approval, barely visible at how easily he diverted the question with professional answer.

All Might nodded slightly, thoughtful.

-Nod

Nezu hummed.

"Atmosphere, culture, challenge… You certainly didn't choose the simple path."

A tiny chuckle escaped him.

-Chuckle

"Very well."

He closed the folder with a decisive snap.

"Your reasoning is acceptable. Your performance, impeccable.Your credentials…"

His eyes glinted.

"Intriguing."

Nezu slid the signed paper across the desk.

"Congratulations, Mr. Rudra Eswar. You are officially hired as U.A.'s Creativity Instructor."
