"Ryker, can you take me to the warehouse? I need to check something," Lucas said once the crowd dispersed.
"Sure. Why not? You are authorized to go there on your own. You know that, right?" Ryker quirked his brows as he walked in the direction that led to the warehouse.
Lucas nodded, deciding to remain silent as he followed along.
On the way, they met a few new faces, and Ryker flashed them all a smile while Lucas just observed them.
"Ah, it'll take some time getting used to them," Ryker commented with a sigh.
"True that. I feel I'm going face blind," Lucas said with a shake of his head. He already didn't know many people in Velomore. Now, with a lot more joining, he didn't know how long it would take him to learn their names and remember them.
"Why do you want to go to the warehouse, by the way?"
