Chapter 10 - The Wolf and the Lion, Parting Roads

Raigor and the Rescue of Veran

The dark lands of the temple were shrouded in an unnatural fog, the wind carried whispers of ancient prophecies. Raigor advanced with a determined step, following Veran's trail.

When he finally found him, he was speechless.

Veran was on his knees in front of a giant root, his body enveloped in an unnatural light. His gaze was cold, distant. Rebirth had changed him.

"Veran!" Raigor called.

The Storm Wolf looked up. "Raigor… you're back."

"Is it really you?" the Golden Lion asked, clenching his fists. "Are you still the warrior who fought beside me?"

Veran closed his eyes for a moment. "I don't know."

Raigor approached. "Then let's go back together. Whatever happened, you won't face it alone."

Veran hesitated, then nodded. It was time to go back.

The Secret of the Lost Sister

On the way back, Raigor received an unexpected message. It was an old servant of his beloved, Isolde.

"Sir, Isolde needs you!"

Raigor stopped short. "What happened?"

The man looked down. "Not for her… but for her sister, Aria. She is ill. An incurable disease is consuming her. Isolde has vowed to find a cure, but she is desperate."

Raigor felt the weight of the revelation on his heart. Isolde had never spoken to him about Aria.

Veran turned to him. "What will you do?"

Raigor clenched his fists. "I must find her. And I must find the Divine Physician."

Veran nodded. "Then our paths diverge here."

Veran – Return to War

As Raigor prepared to leave for his mission, Veran felt a call in his blood.

The power of the Hydra, the prophecy of the Seer… everything was pulling him toward the battlefield.

The Puppet Master of War knew of his rebirth. It was time to face him.

With one last look at Raigor, Veran smiled. "We will meet again, brother."

"We will meet again," the Golden Lion replied.

And so, the Storm Wolf returned to fight, while the Lion left in search of salvation.

Their paths had diverged. But fate would bring them together again.
