Chapter 11 - Diverging Paths, Intertwined Fates

Raigor – The Search for the Divine Physician

The wind blew hard in the mountains as Raigor rode on horseback, heading towards the Lands of Vythar. It was here that, according to legend, the Divine Physician was hiding, the only one capable of curing illnesses that not even magic could cure.

The journey was dangerous: bandits, wild beasts and dark creatures infested those lands. But nothing would stop Raigor. Not now that he knew the truth.

Isolde's sister, Aria, had been ill since birth, and no cure had ever worked. Isolde had never spoken to him about her, perhaps out of fear that he would see her as a burden. But Raigor would never abandon her.

After days of traveling, he reached the Monastery of the Shattered Moon, an ancient temple where the Divine Physician was said to have lived centuries before.

But the temple was in ruins. And inside, waiting for him, was a hooded man.

"You came here for a cure," he said hoarsely.

Raigor put his hand on the hilt of his sword. "Who are you?"

The man took off his hood. His face was lined by the years, but in his eyes burned a superhuman intelligence.

"I am the one you seek," he replied. "But before I give you what you desire… you must pass three tests."

Raigor gritted his teeth. He had no time to waste. But if this was the only way to save Aria, then he would face any challenge.

Veran – Return to War

Meanwhile, Veran advanced towards the war-torn lands. His heart burned with rage and determination. He had died once. He would not die again.

His goal was clear: find the Puppet Master of War and destroy him.

When he reached the first city, he found that his old allies believed him dead. But his reappearance unleashed chaos.

Some saw him as a hero reborn. Others, however, feared him.

"He is no longer the same…" they whispered.

And Veran knew it. The power of the Hydra was changing him. As time passed, he felt his skin harden like scales, and the hunger grew within him.

But there was no time for doubt. If he wanted to stop the Puppet Master, he had to become stronger.

And so, while Raigor tried to save a life, Veran prepared to destroy anyone who stood in his way.

The Puppet Master of War – The Shadow Who Watches

From his dark fortress, the Puppet Master watched the two warriors' moves.

"Raigor tries to save a life…" he whispered, his fingers brushing an ancient map. "Veran returns stronger than ever…"

A cruel smile spread across his face.

"Perfect. Everything is going exactly as planned."

And in the shadows, a new champion was about to awaken…
