Enel was quite particular about the title of "God." In his heart, the only one he recognized as such was the God of Sky Island, Bege. Beyond that, only he himself was fit to be called a god.
The fact that this weakling before him, no better than a pile of dung, actually called himself a god, thoroughly annoyed Enel. Bang! A gunshot rang out.
A bullet hole appeared on Enel's body; a bullet had passed right through him.
Enel frowned and looked down. It was the young Celestial Dragon boy, holding a small, exquisite pistol in both hands, white smoke curling from its muzzle.
He had fired that last shot.
Although the young Celestial Dragon's face showed some fear, he had decent courage. He said sternly, "You commoner! Let go of my papa!"
"Just a little brat and already dares to shoot and kill people so wantonly. Celestial Dragons truly are a malignant tumor," Enel said, his expression displeased. He lifted his leg and kicked the young Celestial Dragon, sending him flying into a chair. The impact shattered the glass dome over his head, and he fainted.
"My son! You damned commoner! I'll kill you! No, I'll capture you and use the cruelest tortures in the world to make you wish you were dead!" the middle-aged Celestial Dragon roared in fury upon seeing his unconscious son.
"I am the Little Thunder God! You think a waste like you can capture me? Pathetic waste," Enel scoffed. He punched, shattering the glass dome over the Celestial Dragon's head and striking him directly in the face, knocking him unconscious with a single blow. He then tossed him aside like a piece of trash.
"I remember now! He's an officer of the Fire Tank Pirates, Little Thunder God Enel, user of the Logia-type Rumble-Rumble Fruit!" Gasps of recognition erupted from the auction hall. The World Nobles present were so terrified they wished they could sprout four legs to flee faster.
"These pirates even dare to attack Celestial Dragons! They're truly lawless! Quick, run!"
"Hahahaha! That's right, I am Little Thunder God Enel!" Enel spread his arms wide, laughing arrogantly, lightning crackling around his body, enhancing his image as the Little Thunder God.
Before long, everyone in the auction hall had fled.
Enel laughed smugly. "Looks like my name still carries some weight. Not bad, not bad."
Enel swaggered towards the giant, looked up at him, and said, "Hey, Giant! Are you willing to join our Fire Tank Pirates?"
The giant replied in a deep voice, "I've heard of the Fire Tank Pirates. They have a Giant Soldier Pirate crew under them, with six or seven giants on board, including Dorry the Blue Ogre and Brogy the Red Ogre, the strongest warriors from our Elbaf warrior village. I am very willing to join."
"That's good then. Come on, I'll take you to find the key for that explosive collar," Enel said with a satisfied smile. He led the giant into the backstage area of the auction house, directly grabbed a staff member, and inquired where the key to the explosive collars was kept.
Then, he marched straight in and found the auction house supervisor.
"Little Thunder God Enel, this place is the property of the Donquixote Family! Are you trying to make an enemy of us?" the supervisor shouted sternly.
"Heavenly Yaksha, you mean? That waste isn't even fit to shine our shoes. Hurry up and give me the key, or I'll slaughter you," Enel said with utter disdain, his eyes shooting sparks as he glanced sideways at the supervisor.
"Damn you!" The supervisor's face was extremely ugly. He flung a set of keys at Enel.
Enel casually tossed the keys to the giant.
"Find yours yourself. I still have my target to acquire."
"Hey, waste! Take us to where you keep the slaves," Enel said, grabbing the supervisor. Arcs of electricity emanated from his hand, making the supervisor tremble uncontrollably.
The supervisor, being dragged along, led Enel to the slave pens.
There were indeed quite a few slaves imprisoned here.
"Where is Ragon, the user of the Paramecia-type Super Glue Fruit?" Enel asked the supervisor.
The supervisor, trembling, pointed to a cell where a dejected-looking middle-aged man was imprisoned.
Enel took out a wanted poster from his pocket, compared it to the despondent man in the cage, and nodded. "That's right, it's indeed Ragon."
Then, he violently kicked the cell door open. The middle-aged man inside jumped in fright, looking at Enel with terror.
Enel grabbed him and looked at the supervisor, asking, "What about the key for his explosive collar?"
The supervisor pointed to the bunch of collar keys in the giant's hand. Enel threw Ragon at the giant's feet, letting the giant help remove the explosive collar from his neck.
"Save us! Save us! Please, we beg you, save us!" The slaves in the other cells began to plead. Some directly knelt before Enel, tears and snot streaming down their faces.
"Ah, what the hell. Saving one is saving, saving two is also saving. Might as well save them all," Enel thought, a flicker of pity in his heart. These people easily reminded him of himself in his childhood.
"Nobody come near the cell doors!" Astonishing lightning flashed around Enel's body. The slaves were so frightened they immediately squeezed themselves into the corners of their cells.
Bolts of lightning struck the cell doors, blasting the iron bars apart.
"Thank you, benefactor! Thank you, benefactor!" The slaves knelt on the ground, thanking Enel profusely.
He tossed the bunch of explosive collar keys out, and the slaves scrambled for them.
"Run! Run as far as you can!" The slaves stampeded outwards, desperate to escape.
One exceptionally beautiful woman took three steps then quickly knelt before Enel, pleading, "Benefactor, please, be so kind as to help us leave Sabaody Archipelago! As long as we can't leave Sabaody, we'll just be captured again, and our fate will be even more miserable!"
With this woman taking the lead, many other women knelt before Enel, and the rest followed suit, kowtowing and begging.
Enel scratched the back of his head, feeling a bit of a headache. Then, looking at the beautiful women on the ground, his eyes lit up again. Godfather seems to really like pretty women. If I present these women to Godfather, he'll definitely praise me.
"Stop kowtowing! I agree. Come with me," Enel immediately consented.
"Thank you, benefactor! Thank you, benefactor!" The slaves were overjoyed, kowtowing once more in gratitude.
Enel led the large group back towards the auction hall.
However, a barrage of footsteps immediately sounded from outside. A group of Marines swarmed into the hall, over a hundred steel guns aimed at Enel and his group. The slaves behind him turned deathly pale with fright, crouching on the ground, too scared to move.
"Hey, hey, hey, you guys are too timid! It's just a bunch of worthless Marines. Is there any need to be this scared?" Enel said, completely exasperated.
The leader of the Marines was a Commander. His expression was extremely grave; he knew that the man before him was a high-ranking officer of the Fire Tank Pirates, the Logia Rumble-Rumble Fruit user, definitely not someone they could handle.
But Enel had attacked a Celestial Dragon; they had no choice but to intervene.
"Enel, do you know the consequences of attacking a Celestial Dragon? A Marine Admiral has already been dispatched from Headquarters! You absolutely cannot escape!" the Marine Commander said grimly.
"Attacking a Celestial Dragon? That has nothing to do with me! Nothing to do with me!" Upon hearing that Enel had attacked a Celestial Dragon, the slaves behind him immediately panicked, standing up and raising their hands, frantically trying to absolve themselves. If one did it, a second followed, then a third, and soon many slaves were quickly distancing themselves from Enel.
Of course, some remained crouching on the ground with complex expressions, not rushing to speak.
"What a bunch of cowards! Get lost, all of you!" Enel snorted, completely losing any goodwill towards the slaves who had spoken up.
Those slaves scrambled backward in terror.
"No one escapes! Open fire!" the Marine Commander roared. The Marines quickly opened fire, bullets pouring towards the fleeing slaves, shooting them down or injuring them. The remaining slaves were so scared they immediately dropped to the ground, not daring to move.
Enel's face darkened. Strong arcs of electricity erupted from his body, dancing through the air and instantly surging into the Marine ranks. In a moment, all one hundred Marines began to tremble collectively, their hair standing on end, smoke rising from their bodies.
Not even the Marine Commander was an exception.
"A bunch of weaklings, and you dare stand in my way? Those willing to follow me, keep up!" Enel glanced at the slaves behind him, speaking to those who hadn't tried to distance themselves earlier.
The slaves kneeling on the ground looked at each other, each one making a choice.
The giant, holding Ragon the Super Glue Fruit user, followed without hesitation.
The beautiful woman who had first begged Enel was the first to stand up and follow him. Then, others followed suit, but many more slaves still chose to flee.
They had just walked out of the auction house when three people approached them, led by Sam.
"Hey, hey, hey, Enel! Didn't I tell you not to cause trouble?"
