The instant after the ferocious thunder dragon swallowed the yellow monkey, an infinite amount of golden light shot out from within its body. One beam of light was especially thick, shooting straight into the sky.
In the next moment, the thunder dragon exploded violently. The wild, explosive force overturned and shattered the earth, and endless bolts of lightning danced and slithered across the ground like thunder snakes.
The thick beam of golden light shot into the sky and reformed into Kizaru. He radiated an intense golden light, blocking all the incoming lightning.
Suddenly, a particularly sharp sound of tearing air came from within the rampaging, scattered electricity. A thick bolt of lightning shot out, appearing in the sky at almost the same time as Kizaru.
That bolt of lightning was Wiper, wreathed in electricity. The moment Kizaru shot out, he had followed closely behind, catching up to him.
"Thunder Fist!"
Lightning coiled around Wiper's fist, compressing until it looked like he was wearing a gauntlet forged from pure electricity. A heart-stopping, despair-inducing destructive power pulsed uncontrollably from his fist.
Kizaru's expression changed drastically. Endless golden light converged in front of him, forming a thick, golden light shield.
The fist came down. A terrifying bolt of lightning burst from it, shattering the light shield with devastating force and smashing heavily into Kizaru. A streak of lightning carrying a ball of golden light crashed into the earth.
Hundreds of meters of ground were pulverized, creating a giant crater filled with roiling lightning that radiated an aura of destruction.
Within the deep crater, golden light pushed back the rampaging lightning and coalesced into Kizaru's figure.
Kizaru's expression was particularly ugly. As a Marine Admiral, to be caught off guard by two young upstarts was incredibly frustrating.
"The Rumble-Rumble Fruit and the Thunder Lizard Fruit... what a terrifying twin-thunder combination," he mused. From just those two exchanges, he could tell that both Enel and Wiper had already reached a very high level of mastery over their Devil Fruits. The thought of having to deal with two such troublesome fruit users at the same time gave Kizaru a headache.
Kizaru might have had a headache, but Enel was already poised to strike. He leaped into the air like a bolt of lightning, his golden staff striking his thunder drums heavily. One after another, thick bolts of lightning crashed down towards Kizaru.
Kizaru's figure flickered, and he vanished from within the crater.
The rain of lightning once again smashed into the empty pit.
Suddenly, Enel's expression changed drastically. Endless golden light rained down on the earth like meteors, coalescing into Kizaru. Another bolt of lightning was charging towards him.
"I'm returning your previous attack now."
"Aurora Burst!"
Kizaru's right leg instantly shone with a heavenly light. He whipped his leg out, kicking a rainbow of golden light that instantly struck the approaching lightning. The golden rainbow directly crushed the lightning and hit Wiper, sending him flying like a meteor to crash into the ground hundreds of meters away with a deafening explosion.
The smoke and dust cleared, and Wiper climbed out of the crater, drenched in blood. He spat out a mouthful of blood, looking extremely battered.
The moment he was hit by the golden rainbow, he had become elemental, nullifying a large part of the impact. However, the time he could remain elemental was limited, and the remaining force of the attack had struck him head-on, causing him massive damage.
"THUNDER GOD!"
A furious roar echoed through the sky. Enel transformed into the giant body of the Thunder God. A terrifying, giant fist of lightning smashed through the air, a destructive aura that could destroy anything pouring from it as it descended upon Kizaru.
"Yasakani Sacred Jewel!"
Kizaru brought his hands together and then pulled them apart. Endless golden light condensed between his palms, and then, one by one, golden laser beams shot through the air, striking the thunder fist. The dense barrage of lasers instantly blasted the fist apart.
Thousands of lasers destroyed the giant thunder arm and shot through the Thunder God's body of lightning.
"To still have this much fighting power after the battle you just went through is no small feat."
Enel roared in fury, and a massive, azure pillar of lightning shot from his mouth. It tore through the air, shattered the lasers, and directly engulfed Kizaru, blasting the earth apart.
The terrifying impact made the entire island of Fear tremble, and thick cracks shot across the ground like lightning.
Golden light moved through the lightning, converging and reforming into Kizaru's body.
He looked at the devastated, regenerating body of the Thunder God. With a wave of his hand, he created a series of light mirrors in the air. But as soon as the mirrors formed, they were shattered by the lightning dancing through the air. It was Wiper, charging towards him.
"Then I'll take you down first," Kizaru said, transforming into a beam of golden light and shooting towards Wiper. Wiper's eyes were cold, and terrifying lightning condensed and compressed on his fists. He suddenly threw a punch, and a terrifying pillar of lightning tore through everything as it shot towards the golden light.
Kizaru flashed out of the beam of light, his body shimmering with golden light.
He planted his left foot as a pivot and swung his right foot back. His entire right leg shone with a golden light that reached the sky. With a large, windmill-like kick, he kicked out a golden rainbow even more powerful than before. It crashed into the pillar of lightning.
The terrifying sound of the impact shook the entire island. The golden rainbow shattered the pillar of lightning and slammed heavily into Wiper. He was once again sent flying like a meteor, crashing into the ground even further away.
The impact this time was even more severe. Nearly all of his ribs were broken, and his internal organs were severely damaged. Blood gushed from his mouth, and he lay in the rubble, unable to move.
"Wiper!"
"Yellow monkey, you're looking to die!" Enel's eyes were bloodshot, and he looked like a mad demon. He swung his thunder fists wildly, smashing them down on Kizaru.
Kizaru transformed into a beam of golden light, flashing all over the place. The furious power hammered the earth, and hundreds of meters of ground were shattered. Lightning rampaged across the broken landscape, and the sound of thunderous explosions echoed across the entire island.
A beam of golden light instantly appeared behind Enel, and a kick struck the thigh of his Thunder God form. The thunder leg was instantly blown apart, and the lightning, carried by the shockwave, shot out like a torrential downpour, smashing into the ground and pulverizing the rubble.
Having lost a leg, Enel couldn't stand, and he fell towards the ground.
Kizaru pushed off the ground and shot into the sky. His legs, shining with a terrifying golden light, were raised high. He brought them down in a golden rainbow that slammed heavily into the back of the Thunder God, tearing its body in two.
The sundered body of the Thunder God instantly dissolved into lightning, converging in one direction.
"I won't give you the chance," Kizaru snorted. He shot a series of laser beams from his hands, riddling the sky full of lightning with holes.
A figure fell from the lightning, crashing to the ground.
Enel clutched his shoulder. There were two piercing, bloody holes in it, and two more in his thigh. Blood was flowing freely.
With a wave of Kizaru's hand, a series of light mirrors floated in the air. He transformed into a beam of golden light, his figure warping as he traveled through the mirrors. In an instant, he was in front of Enel, holding a longsword of golden light.
The lightning on Enel's body surged, and he transformed into a thunder bird, shooting out. Kizaru cleaved the thunder bird in two with a single slash.
At that moment, a ferocious bolt of lightning shot from the distance at an astonishing speed. The ground was torn apart by its light, and in an instant, it was upon Kizaru.
The lightning dissipated, revealing Wiper.
Kizaru's expression changed drastically, and he instantly slashed with his Ama no Murakumo sword.
Wiper balled his fist, terrifying lightning condensing within it. He threw a punch that smashed into the Ama no Murakumo, shattering it and sending Kizaru flying along with it.
Wiper landed on the ground, his body wreathed in lightning. He was in a state of severe bestial transformation, his aura extremely powerful. He looked nothing like a man who had been grievously wounded.
"What's going on?" Kizaru blasted away the lightning, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, his brow furrowed in confusion.
At the same time, all across the battlefield, everyone from Moria to the heavily poisoned Little Oars Jr., all stood up. One by one, their auras flared, and a powerful presence washed over the battlefield again and again.
