In the vast, scorching desert, a lone figure flew low across the sand, holding a delicate young girl in his arms.
It was Wu Tian and Qing Lin, heading toward the place where the Green Lotus Core Flame had been born.
Upon landing, Wu Tian gazed at the familiar, deep, dark passageway and was momentarily lost in thought.
This was the very tunnel that Queen Medusa had once emerged from.
Surprisingly, after all this time, it still remained untouched.
"Looks like the Twin Headed Fire Spirit Serpents have been behaving themselves."
Holding Qing Lin in his arms, Wu Tian approached the boundary of the blazing magma lake.
Almost instantly, Qing Lin's delicate body was covered in a fine layer of fragrant sweat.

"We've arrived," he said calmly.
Staring at the magma filled cavern, Wu Tian's brows furrowed.
The Tagor Desert was already hot enough, but the entrance to this place was almost unbearable.
Yet, Qing Lin who had never seen such a terrifying sight before was completely awe struck.
"Wu Tian gege, this place is amazing!" she gasped in admiration.
Wu Tian smiled. "Qing Lin, try sensing if there are any magical beasts inside."
She obediently nodded and turned her emerald green eyes toward the molten abyss.
"There's definitely something inside…" she murmured.
"They're strong… very strong!"
Her gaze locked onto a specific point within the magma, and a faint glow flickered in her eyes
As if she was piercing through the lava itself.
"One of them is about as strong as Captain Huo Jian," Qing Lin said, gesturing with her small hand.
"But the other one… it's terrifying."
Before Wu Tian could respond, the once still magma lake suddenly exploded with a thunderous roar.
A massive eruption sent scalding lava soaring into the air.
And from within the fiery inferno, a gigantic Twin Headed Fire Spirit Serpent shot out like a bolt of lightning!
Its colossal body was wreathed in flames, and its piercing eyes immediately locked onto Wu Tian.
As soon as it recognized him
The serpent opened its massive jaws and let out a booming laugh.
"Hahaha~ I've finally been waiting for you! Good thing I never gave up!"
Wu Tian's eyelid twitched.
"Still as obnoxious as ever."
Before he could speak, the serpent lunged at him, flames surging as it snapped its jaws shut.
With a single flap of his wings, Wu Tian dodged effortlessly.
He smirked and said, "Twin Headed Fire Spirit Serpent King, I see you've managed to break through to mid rank despite your injuries. Congratulations."
"Hah! Of course, I'm happy!
"Now I can finally settle the score with you!"
The serpent roared, its massive body twisting through the air with astonishing speed.
Its forked, blood red tongue lashed out like a spear, aiming straight for Wu Tian.
Wu Tian simply smiled and dodged again, his movement so fluid it was almost mocking.
At that moment, another eruption of magma burst forth from the abyss.
This time, the eruption was smaller, but still incredibly intense.
From within the fiery surge, a second Twin Headed Fire Spirit Serpent emerged
But this one was much smaller.
It was the weaker, four star version nowhere near as powerful as the Six Star King.
Yet, even at its lower rank, this serpent was still a terrifying monster to most of the Jia Ma Empire.
"Hissss~"
The smaller serpent flicked out its crimson tongue and lunged toward Qing Lin.
Qing Lin's face went pale with fear.
Even though she knew Wu Tian would protect her, she couldn't help but tremble.
She was still just a young girl
She had never faced something this terrifying before.
"D Don't come any closer…" she whimpered, backing away.
But the giant snake head loomed ever closer, its putrid breath washing over her.
Its forked tongue flickered, brushing against her skin

Their massive bodies went completely rigid.
Their four sets of eyes stared in pure terror at Qing Lin
As if they were being crushed by an ancient, primal force.
A brilliant green light surged forth, enveloping the two serpents.
The glow coiled around them, shrinking in size as it grew more intense.
Finally, the light condensed into four tiny green flowers, which branded themselves onto their foreheads.
As the glow faded, Qing Lin's eyes slowly returned to normal.
Her vision blurred.
Her body swayed.
And then
She collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
The smaller Fire Spirit Serpent immediately slithered to her side, its massive eyes now filled with complete obedience.
It lowered its head beside her, acting as if it were a loyal guardian.
