The echo of the dome being broken through rang through out the Kingdom of Gotham. Ripples of the shaken invisible hemisphere was the sight of the night. Everyone within and without their shelters heard the sound of something breaking through the dome, and a green light that punctuated the position at which the crash was coming from.
Fathers hugged their wives, children their mothers, singles their lovers, as they approached their windows or looked up to the sky. Everyone watched the ripples hover over them as their eyes all traced it to its unknown point. However, no one dared say any one concerning the matter among-st themselves, but in their heart of hearts, everyone knew someone had just escaped their prison dome over Gotham.
Levi's skin was burnt. Not from the blast but from the power from whatever it was that came from that carriage before it vanished. He had never experienced such power comparable if not greater than his. His heart burned in hatred for his failure. He looked back, and his eyes caught sight of the palace. He knew everyone heard the breakthrough, everyone saw the ripples, and that included his father who awaited him at the palace.
He got off his beautiful beast and decided to take a walk back to let the steam of his anger die down before he got back to the palace. Unfortunately, that wasn't what happened as he walked along the way. His mind wandered as he pondered on who it was that must have infiltrated the palace. Whoever it was must either be an insider, or inhabitant within the palace walls from before.
Boiling, he continued along the path to find answers while his beastly horse tailed behind him. His mind wandered off to the shame he had to face before his father, and his brother, for failing just a simple task. His men, who were coming towards him, looking hurt and bruised with their horses, slowly began to halt one by one. Their horses slowly became uneasy as he and his ride approached. Levi and his horse, changed forms to look humanly acceptable as they approached. It wasn't yet the right time for them to reveal their true forms to the ordinary ones.
As Levi and his horse's silhouette slowly began to come into view, the horses of the soldiers refused to go any further. The captain, on behalf of his soldiers, went ahead with his horse to confirm the approaching figure since they all were unwilling to move any step further, because horses never lie on such matters. He squinted his eyes to see if he could recognize the incoming figure, while his heart mustered up every courage he could find through reason.
Earlier, he and his men had got the chills when the wind halted and the leaves suddenly moved like they were in a time warp. Then again, while chasing their runway kidnappers, they all felt something run past them, but none of them felt the need to bring up the absurd subject because of how insensible it sounded to them.
"Who's there?" The captain called out.
Only the sound of the trudging horse behind the incoming figure was the response. He frowned in wonder. Did something break through the dome, and was this person coming, the one? His mind went further to ponder that if his assumption is true, surely he'd be handsomely rewarded if he captured this importer, after presenting him to the King.
