"Hey, hey, what's that last sentence? Read it out! I can't see it clearly from here!" The man who was being urged scratched his head. "Oh, okay. Let me see... A bonfire festival will be held in Konoha tonight. We hope the villagers will have a good time!"
As soon as he said this, the surrounding villagers let out a gasp of surprise. They didn't expect the Hokage to prepare a bonfire festival!
"Did Hokage-sama specially prepare this? He really has a heart." Although the villagers didn't have any complaints about the ban, they were still worried, afraid that the enemy would show up quietly at any time. Because of this, Konoha had been filled with a tense and low-pressure atmosphere these past few days. But it was a good thing that all of that was over. Starting today, there would be no more ban! And there was even a bonfire festival organized by the Hokage! After a short cheer, the people present immediately went home to tell their families the news.
The news quickly spread to every household in Konoha. Many people said they wanted to go, while others were very regretful because they had things to do and couldn't get away. There were also some elderly people who had trouble walking, so they simply stayed at home. After all, with so many people, it was sure to get a little crowded. The elderly also found it a little noisy, so they accepted the Hokage's good intentions and just listened to the commotion from home.
Hashirama also naturally learned about the bonfire festival. He immediately instructed his clansmen to go outside the village and cut down some trees to bring back and place in the square in the center of Konoha. That area had been expanded once before and was very spacious, perfect for a bonfire. He had also heard about the situation at the interrogation unit and had even sent some fruit to Ibiki. Other than that, Hashirama didn't do anything else. He didn't even ask for more details. He just understood the beginning and end of the matter. Now that Torifu was the Hokage, Hashirama, as his master, wouldn't keep telling him what to do or try to control him. He would just provide support from behind.
"Mito, are you going tonight? It should be very lively!"
Mito walked into the yard and hung the freshly washed clothes on the clothesline. "Of course. It's rare for Konoha to have such a lively event. We have to go and participate."
Ashina was also attracted by the couple's conversation. "Take me with you. This old man also wants to join in on the fun."
"Alright, let's all go together as a family. It's perfect since Nawaki hasn't gone on any missions because of the ban."
Besides the Senju clan, most of Konoha's clans had been mobilized by Naori. After they received the news, they all said that they would go and participate. Naori's hard work wasn't in vain.
After issuing the notice, Torifu began to instruct the ninjas to maintain safety for tonight. This was a very important matter. After all, if something were to happen during such a happy time, the villagers' emotions would instantly plummet.
As for the layout of the venue, Torifu didn't have to worry. He looked out the window and saw that the villagers had already started to set up the venue on their own. This feeling of everyone's strength being used for one purpose made Torifu feel very good. It showed that everyone was looking forward to the festival tonight.
There was nothing left to do at the office. But suddenly, something came to mind, so Torifu immediately drafted another notice. In a moment, it was posted. The content was to have the vendors from the morning market set up stalls on the various streets tonight. After all, how could it be a festival without food?
Now, there was absolutely nothing left to do. Torifu released his puppet and had it handle the official business here by itself. He then quickly left the Hokage Building and headed straight for the Akimichi Yakiniku shop. Since he was using his Concealment Technique, no one noticed him. The owner was not standing at the door, so he must have been in the office.
Torifu walked straight up to the second floor. Next to his private room was the owner's office. As soon as he pushed the door open, he saw the owner writing something with his head down. Torifu closed the door and dispelled his Concealment Technique.
"Boss, what are you doing? You're so focused."
The owner suddenly heard a voice and his body shook in fright! He even threw his pen away! He was about to shout for someone to come when he realized it was Torifu. He let out a sigh of relief and slumped into his chair.
"Hokage-sama, why are you so quiet? You almost scared me to death."
Torifu laughed. "My bad, my bad. It's just that it's a little inconvenient for me."
The owner pulled out a chair and let Torifu sit down. Then he asked, "Sir, is there something you need me to do?"
Torifu nodded. "Two things. First, I wanted to ask if the business cooperation proposed by the Kazekage has been properly handled in all aspects?"
When he heard this, the owner immediately patted his chest. "Of course, sir! The Kazekage's request was not complicated. I've already finished organizing everything. Do you want to take a look?"
"No need. Just have it sent directly to the Hokage's office."
Two years ago, Torifu had appointed the yakiniku shop owner as the head of the commerce department because this guy's business sense was very good. His yakiniku business was very popular. But he himself was an honest man. He loved money but wasn't greedy. After so many years of friendship, Torifu knew what kind of person he was, so he appointed him. In his business dealings with other countries and villages, he had secured a lot of benefits for Konoha, so he was a very competent person.
"And your second thing?"
"You must have already heard about the bonfire festival. Arrange reasonable stall locations for the small vendors from the morning market as quickly as possible to avoid any congestion."
The owner had other things to do, but when he heard Torifu's command, he immediately agreed. "Don't worry, sir. I'll have it all arranged in less than an hour."
Torifu smiled when he heard this. "Very good. Then I'll be on my way." "Take care, sir."
After Torifu left, the owner also let out a breath. "Alright, get to work. Don't let Hokage-sama wait too long." Then he took out the new map of Konoha and began to make plans on it. He was in charge of commerce, and all the vendors in Konoha were under his jurisdiction. So he knew exactly how many people there were, what their names were, and what they sold. He quickly started writing names on the map.
After Torifu left the yakiniku shop, he went straight back to the compound. Minato had just gotten home and happened to see Torifu return, so he asked, "Big Brother, is there really going to be a bonfire festival tonight?"
"Of course. Would a notice I put out be fake? You can have a good time tonight."
Minato was naturally very happy. The ban had been lifted. The ban had made him feel a little cooped up these past few days. He couldn't accept missions or leave the village, but now it was finally lifted.
