Chapter 310 - Chapter 310: Creation and Destruction.

Chapter 310: Creation and Destruction.

In the end, the Gold Horned Beast refrained from attacking little Keli. Not because of any compassion or reluctance to harm such an adorable little girl, but because the moment it harbored murderous intent toward her, it instinctively sensed danger. Keli's black pearl like eyes suddenly flickered with light and, in an instant, transformed into dazzling golden pupils!

From the Gold Horned Beast's perspective, it could clearly see that the gray shell encasing Keli's radiant sun like presence began to crack apart, covered in countless fissures! Blazing firelight burst from the cracks, as if the fragile shell was on the verge of shattering completely, unleashing the boundless radiance of the sun.

Terrified, the beast hurriedly withdrew its killing intent, and the nearly broken shell of the "sun" abruptly halted its collapse, gradually stabilizing once more. Keli's golden eyes slowly faded, returning to their original pure black. She blinked in confusion, unaware of what had just happened only feeling as if she had briefly zoned out.

[Those eyes…]

[It's confirmed! Keli is the Lord's daughter!]

[Haha, look at how terrified that beast was.]

[But that thing was about to kill her, wasn't it? Hmph! A beast is just a beast!]

[It should be destroyed!]

The viewers in the livestream had been holding their breath, their hearts clenched with worry as the beast prepared to attack the innocent Keli. They desperately wished they could intervene, to stop this monstrous act. Fortunately, fate was on Keli's side, terrifying the creature into backing down.

In reality, Qian Renxue and Bibi Dong, who had been watching the video, instinctively stood up, their fists clenched tightly as they unconsciously radiated a murderous aura. Only after seeing Keli safe and sound did they finally breathe a sigh of relief and relax their tense bodies.

Qian Renxue couldn't understand it. Even though she knew Keli was her "sister" and not her daughter, she still felt an uncontrollable sense of concern when she was in danger. Was this the pull of blood ties? Or was it simply because Keli was so irresistibly lovable that no one could help but want to protect her?

In the video, the Gold Horned Beast was utterly shaken. It had never imagined that this seemingly frail and harmless little girl could pose such a terrifying threat once her true power awakened.

The previous Rainbow Sword strike had only been a fraction of its true power since it wasn't wielded by its original owner. As a result, it only managed to physically damage the beast rather than truly destroy it. But Keli's power was different. If she fully unleashed her abilities, she could burn the beast down to nothingness from a conceptual level.

The sun, a celestial body present in every life bearing planetary system, was far more than just a giant ball of fire.

It wasn't merely a source of heat it represented the forces of creation and destruction in the universe.

It could radiate warmth and nurture life.

It could also ignite the heavens and annihilate everything.

When Ye Cheng had broken through his limits and ascended to the next realm, he had borrowed the primordial essence of the sun to do so. Through this, he grasped the fundamental laws of creation and destruction. Or rather, it was precisely because he had comprehended these laws that he was able to transcend into an entirely new realm.

And Keli, having inherited Ye Cheng's bloodline perfectly, had naturally inherited this power the power of the sun that symbolized both creation and annihilation.

Thus, at this moment, in the entire world, if anyone could truly kill the Gold Horned Beast, it wouldn't be the Three God Kings it would be Keli.

[Only she has the power to completely erase it.]

"This is trouble..."

The Gold Horned Beast stared at the small yet unimaginably dangerous girl, torn between two conflicting urges. On one hand, it wanted to flee to get as far away as possible from this walking disaster that could threaten its very existence.

On the other hand… it couldn't let go of her pure and boundless energy.

Keli wasn't just a sun she was a uniquely consumable one. Unlike a real star, which was too vast and violent to be absorbed, Keli's energy was just as pure yet far more digestible.

The beast had a gut feeling if it could devour her completely, it would dramatically shorten the time needed to reach its next evolutionary stage.

From its perspective, Keli was like a poisoned apple incredibly tempting, yet potentially fatal.

Should I take the risk?

At that moment, Keli grabbed a cat toy and started waving it in front of the beast.

Seeing the fluffy little wand swaying before its eyes, the Gold Horned Beast let out a deep sigh. It had no choice but to pretend to be an actual cat, lazily swiping its paws at the toy.

The sight of this fierce cosmic predator pretending to be a house pet sent Keli into fits of giggles.

"I'll lay low for now."

"As long as I don't pose a threat to her, her power won't instinctively awaken."

"There will be opportunities. Besides, given her background, she must be connected to powerful figures. Staying by her side might allow me to gather even more intelligence..."

Convincing itself with these thoughts, the beast resigned itself to playing along. And, to its own surprise, it actually started to enjoy it.

Two "children," one innocent, the other a disguised cosmic horror, happily played together.

Time passed quickly.

 Nightfall.

In Keli's bedroom, under the warm glow of the nightlight

"Mommy, goodnight."

Keli lay snugly in her pink bed, now dressed in adorable pajamas. Bibi Dong gently tucked her in, her touch filled with tenderness.

"Goodnight, my dear," Bibi Dong whispered softly. "A good child shouldn't stay up late. You need to sleep well so you can grow taller."

"Mm!"

Keli nodded obediently, closing her bright eyes. Within moments, her breathing became gentle and steady, as she drifted off into sweet dreams.

Bibi Dong gazed tenderly at her daughter's peaceful sleeping face.

Only after confirming she was sound asleep did she silently rise, extinguish the room's main light, and step out leaving only a soft nightlight glowing beside Keli's bed.

 Meanwhile, in reality.

Qian Renxue watched the scene unfold, her heart filled with a strange emptiness.

This was the mother daughter moment she had dreamed of as a child.

But it wasn't her in that bed it was someone else.

For a brief moment, she wasn't sure whether she should feel envious… or jealous.
