Inside Keli's room, after Bibi Dong gently closed the door and left, the little spotted kitten curled up in its cat bed suddenly opened its eyes. Its dark golden pupils gleamed brightly in the night, unaffected by the surrounding darkness. Silently, it leaped onto the bed. The Gold Horned Beast gazed at Keli's peaceful, defenseless sleeping face under the soft glow of the nightlight. Its body slowly expanded, growing to the size of a bear, and as it lifted its paw, an incredibly concentrated force began to gather. Sharp energy gleamed at its claws, and no one in the livestream doubted the devastating power of this strike.

The livestream chat was filled with panic. Viewers' hearts raced as they anxiously watched the video. Some even closed their eyes, fearing they were about to witness a horrifying scene of blood splattering and Keli's delicate form being torn apart.

As soon as the threat disappeared, the golden flames in Keli's eyes extinguished, her eyelids drooped, and she drifted back into a peaceful sleep, as if nothing had happened.

The Gold Horned Beast looked at the slumbering Keli with a mix of frustration and awe. It had assumed that attacking her in deep sleep would bypass her reflexive defenses, but her body instantly reacted, surging with overwhelming power.
If she had fully awakened, the beast doubted it could escape unscathed it would likely be severely injured at the very least. And in its current weakened state, having only recently reconstructed its body, it was far from full strength.
Moreover, if Keli's energy surge attracted the attention of other powerful beings, its fate would be sealed. Even if it couldn't be killed, it could still be sealed away a fate the Gold Horned Beast desperately wanted to avoid.
Having tested Keli's instinctual reaction twice now, the beast reluctantly concluded that trying to kill her in her sleep was impossible. Her dormant power would always retaliate, and the moment her life was truly in danger, her unleashed strength would be far more terrifying than if she were awake.
"Forget it... I'll let you live a little longer."
The Gold Horned Beast sighed and, instead of returning to the cat bed, crawled onto Keli's pillow, curling up beside her like an actual kitten. It closed its eyes, focusing on absorbing the pure energy that unconsciously radiated from her body while she slept.
Keli, like a miniature sun, constantly released energy, unable to control its leakage at her current level. And so, the beast feasted upon it for free.

The livestream chat collectively exhaled in relief. Many viewers gritted their teeth in frustration, seething with hatred toward the Gold Horned Beast for repeatedly attempting to harm Keli. If they could, they'd jump into the video and kill it on the spot.
Even though this was a recording from the future, the realistic immersion made it feel as intense as a live drama.
The Next Morning
Inside Keli's room, the alarm clock rang loudly.
The little girl, still drowsy, opened her misty eyes and stared blankly at the ceiling for a few seconds before fully waking up.
"Meow~"
A lazy cat's yawn echoed beside her ear.
Turning her head, Keli saw her new pet, Little Meow, stretching. She immediately scooped up the tiny feline and rubbed it against her cheek.
The Gold Horned Beast, in its kitten form, rolled its eyes dramatically but didn't resist, allowing itself to be cuddled.
Internally, however, it sneered.
"Foolish humans… completely defenseless against fluffy creatures. This world is doomed."
After getting her fill of kitty affection, Keli finally sat up. Stretching both hands toward the ceiling, she let out a long yawn.
In the morning sunlight, girl and cat stretched in perfect synchronization.

Many livestream viewers were completely enchanted. The sight of Keli and her kitten melted hearts, especially among female viewers, who instantly felt their maternal instincts activate. Some, turning to their boyfriends, eagerly asked, "Should we have a daughter just like Keli?"

Keli skipped happily, radiating boundless energy. Her joyful presence brought a warmth to the solemn halls of Spirit Hall, causing even the normally stoic guards to smile unconsciously.
This cheerful little figure seemed to carry an innate magic, softening even the most hardened hearts. Even the gloomiest of souls would find it impossible to show their darker sides in front of her.
