Chapter 210 - Chapter 210: Preparing in Tian Dou City, Setting Off Again Destination: Blue Silver Forest

Chapter 210: Preparing in Tian Dou City, Setting Off Again Destination: Blue Silver Forest

While Han Li was passing down the modified techniques to the others, Qian Renxue had quietly completed the affairs with the Ye family.

That afternoon, as Han Li and the group were carrying out their daily training in the courtyard, someone knocked on the door.

With a sweep of his spiritual power, Han Li's expression showed a hint of surprise. He then turned to the others and said, "Alright, take a break. Xue Qinghe has arrived with Ye LingLing."

He intentionally emphasized the name "Xue Qinghe" after all, Ye LingLing wasn't fully one of their own yet, at least not until the Martial Soul Oath was completed.

"Don't worry, we'll be mindful," Dugu Yan replied playfully, though she secretly thought, It won't be long before that won't even be necessary.

The group walked toward the entrance to welcome them.

When Han Li opened the door, he saw Xue Qinghe and Ye LingLing standing outside.

"A rare guest. It looks like things went smoothly if you even have the time to visit in person," Han Li teased while letting them in.

"It was indeed smooth so much so that even the potential problems afterward were resolved at the same time," Qian Renxue replied.

As she spoke, she dismissed her disguise, reverting to her true appearance in front of everyone.

"You're revealing yourself just like that?" Han Li was taken aback. He had no habit of monitoring every development in real time, but wasn't this a bit too direct?

"No choice," Qian Renxue said with a helpless yet somewhat amused expression.

"One of the guards I brought along who happens to be from the Angel Legion was assisting a core member of the Ye family in testing their martial soul, and somehow, the two unintentionally triggered a Martial Soul Fusion Skill."

Han Li's eyes widened in shock. This was definitely unexpected.

"Fortunately, I had two elders with me at the time, and we weren't lacking in strength. Plus, there weren't many Ye family members who actually witnessed it. Under these circumstances, the Ye Clan Patriarch made the wise decision, and no one was harmed."

"In short the Ye family is now fully aligned with Spirit Hall and directly swears allegiance to me."

Qian Renxue skimmed over the details, but the others had already started imagining the scene in their minds.

"Does this count as a forced submission?" Han Li joked.

"Not really," Ye LingLing unexpectedly chimed in.

"The Ye family has followed a tradition for hundreds of years whoever solves their Martial Soul's flaw will be regarded as their master. There was no actual conflict."

"Exactly," Qian Renxue smiled at Han Li. "In fact, you could say I stole one of your followers."

"Oh no, I stopped her," she added, pointing at Ye LingLing, watching the reactions of the other girls with interest.

Clearly, she wasn't here just to deliver someone she wanted to enjoy the show.

Too bad for her, the others already knew all about Ye LingLing.

Han Li sighed at her antics, then turned to Ye LingLing. "Alright, she's here. You can leave now."

"No rush, I have other matters to discuss," Qian Renxue said, sitting down with a smirk.

She shot Han Li a look clearly, this was something she didn't want the others to hear.

Water Bing'er caught on immediately. "We'll take LingLing to see her room first. You two talk."

"Alright, go ahead." Han Li didn't stop them. If this was related to the Worship Hall or the Qian family, it was indeed best left private.

Once they were gone, Qian Renxue handed Han Li a letter. "Here. It's from my grandfather."

Her usual playful demeanor had vanished she was serious now.

Han Li nodded, took the letter, and quickly scanned its contents.

A moment later, he put it away and said, "Alright, I'll help you condense your Soul Core soon."

As expected, the Worship Hall had received word from his master, and after reviewing the matter, Qian Daoliu did not object.

"I can't believe I was the last one to know," Qian Renxue said, her tone carrying a hint of grievance.

I thought we were friends, and you kept this from me?

Han Li wasn't buying it. "The letter says everything clearly. Don't blame me. Your family matters aren't something I want to meddle in. If I ruin your destiny, your grandmaster will definitely kill me."

"Alright, fine. I'll let you off the hook," she pouted but accepted his reasoning.

"Well then, here some new techniques for you. This time, don't say I never tell you anything."

Han Li handed her a copy of the refined techniques.

Qian Renxue took them, flipping through a few pages before a pleased smile appeared on her lips.

She was very interested in these.

"Read it later, let's first set a date for me to help you condense your Soul Core." Han Li interrupted Qian Renxue before she could continue flipping through the pages. Now that Ye LingLing had arrived, he was preparing for the next steps he would be leaving Tian Dou City for a while.

"The day after tomorrow then," Qian Renxue thought for a moment and chose a time before turning to Han Li. "Why? You have something planned?"

"Yeah, I'm heading out for a bit to help these two get their fourth spirit rings." Han Li didn't hide it, though that was only part of the reason.

"I'm jealous. You can just leave whenever you want… But honestly, you seem busier than me." Qian Renxue first showed a look of envy before making a sarcastic remark.

"Well, I am raising soldiers for you, aren't I, my dear Young Lord?" Han Li casually shot back, blocking any further complaints.

The two continued chatting idly, covering various topics, making for a rather enjoyable conversation.

Qian Renxue had specifically chosen today to visit, and she even stayed for dinner before finally heading back to the prince's residence.

Meanwhile, Ye LingLing remained behind. Now that Qian Renxue's identity had already been revealed, there was no longer a need to keep secrets within Han Li's group.

Like Zhu Zhuqing, Ye LingLing also underwent a Martial Soul Oath, but unlike Zhu Zhuqing, she had no resistance to it. With Dugu Yan as her close friend, she integrated into the group much faster.

With a new member joining, Han Li naturally had a lot to take care of.

Fortunately, Ye LingLing had already been in contact with them before. Her issues were much simpler than Zhu Zhuqing's she only needed to enhance her physical strength for now. Further improvements could wait.

However, the whale gelatin enhancement process was taken over by Dugu Yan. She insisted, "Trust me, this is the best way for LingLing to adapt."

Han Li let her handle it.

With this free time, Han Li retrieved the remaining two immortal herbs.

Ye LingLing had already reached rank 40, while Zhu Zhuqing was only rank 35. There was no need to delay he would first boost their strength.

At noon the next day, after lunch, Han Li called the two over and handed them the immortal herbs.

Ye LingLing received the All Purpose Golden Camellia, while Zhu Zhuqing got the Water Immortal Jade Muscle Bone.

After explaining their effects, he watched as they swallowed the herbs.

It wasn't until late at night that the two finally emerged from their cultivation, now fully aware of how much their bodies and martial souls had changed they recognized the true value of the immortal herbs.

Ye LingLing's Nine Heart Begonia underwent a tremendous transformation after absorbing the All Purpose Golden Camellia.

Originally a blend of pink and white, her martial soul was now wrapped in a radiant golden silver starlight, making it appear more noble and elegant.

Her soul skills remained the same still providing area wide healing.

But what changed was that her martial soul now passively absorbed the essence of heaven and earth, as well as the radiance of the sun and moon.

Previously, she relied solely on her own martial soul and life energy to heal others. But now, some of that burden was alleviated she could channel the power of starlight.

Additionally, the energy of heaven and earth constantly refined her spiritual power, body, and life force. Though the increase was subtle, it was continuous.

From now on, she would no longer need to fear the drawbacks of the Nine Heart Begonia.

On Zhu Zhuqing's side, after taking the Water Immortal Jade Muscle Bone, her martial soul also underwent changes perhaps because of her ongoing martial soul development or the Evil God Orb she carried.

After her meridians were cleared, the gray energy from the Evil God Orb was absorbed into her martial soul.

She could feel that if this continued, her martial soul would evolve further toward the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger.

Han Li wasn't too surprised by this outcome, but he still shook his head.

Zhu Zhuqing still had a long way to go.

Perhaps after absorbing more spirit rings, her martial soul would fully evolve. But for now, she could at most enhance its power.

Her starting point was too low, and the Evil God Orb wasn't fully integrated. Reaching the true level of a Dark Demon Evil God Tiger would take time.

After settling their affairs, it was finally time for Han Li's appointment with Qian Renxue.

This time, they didn't go to the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well.

As the Tian Dou Crown Prince, Xue Qinghe already had a decent training ground.

The two slipped away without any followers and arrived at a private estate outside Tian Dou City.

Half a day later, the blood red light of a sacrificial pillar was concealed, and Qian Renxue successfully condensed her Soul Core.

After some basic testing, they returned to Tian Dou City.

The next day, a seemingly unremarkable carriage blended into the crowd, slowly leaving Tian Dou City its destination, Star Dou Forest.

Inside the carriage, Han Li reached into his storage bracelet and pulled out a Blue Silver Grass leaf veined with golden patterns, a subtle smile forming on his lips.

This trip's true destination Blue Silver Forest.
