Chapter 304 - Chapter 304: The Yin Yang Domain, Activated

Chapter 304: The Yin Yang Domain, Activated

Using soul beast bloodlines to replace human bloodlines?

The moment Han Li uttered those words, the entire arena erupted in an uproar.

It was an accusation too heavy to ignore yet, the implications were terrifying to consider.

Up until today, Tang San and his team had been legitimate participants in the Spirit Master Tournament. They had even fought their way to the finals. While luck played a role, their talent was undeniable.

If they had not been exposed today, with their potential, at the very least, they would have been able to cultivate to the Spirit Sage level. What about their families, their descendants? Would they also undergo the same process?

Just the thought of it made many people in the audience begin to change their views on the figures standing on the platform.

"This is absolutely false! I have already stated I know nothing of this 'Haotian Secret Art,' and the Haotian Sect has never been involved!"

At this point, Tang Xiao only wanted to sever ties with Tang Hao and his son as quickly as possible. He couldn't allow his sect to fall into peril just because Tang Hao was his younger brother.

"Oh? Sect Master Tang, if that's the case, then can you explain to me what your sect members have been doing in the Spirit Beast Forest over the past month?"

"You sneaking around is one thing. Spirit Hall has been lenient, turning a blind eye. But given the current situation, things don't seem as simple as you claim."

With a flick of his left hand, Han Li revealed a dossier along with a map and casually tossed it toward Tang Xiao.

How could he not have prepared beforehand?

As for the intelligence source of course, it was himself. With an omniscient perspective, it only took a bit of effort for him to trace the movements of every Haotian Sect member.

Tang Xiao's hands trembled as he unfolded the map, and his pupils shrank. The marked locations were exactly the spirit beast gathering areas he and the sect elders had chosen.

"The outer regions of the Spirit Beast Forest are patrolled by Spirit Hall. Discovering this wasn't difficult. Sect Master Tang, tell me why has the Haotian Sect been hunting large numbers of strength type spirit beasts?"

"If I recall correctly, hunting spirit beasts without the intent of obtaining spirit rings is explicitly forbidden. Or is this related to the 'Haotian Secret Art'? Are you extracting spirit beast bloodlines and power through some method?"

"But most importantly if this secret art truly strengthens Spirit Masters, then fine. But from what I see, it doesn't seem all that impressive."

Han Li's voice was calm, yet to Tang Xiao, it was the tolling of a death knell.

The audience instinctively compared Tang San and his team to Shui Bing'er and the others, then nodded in agreement.

Indeed, it did seem rather mediocre.

After all, they couldn't even defeat the Spirit Hall battle team. In fact, aside from Tang San, the rest of them weren't even guaranteed to beat Yu Tianheng.

Tang Xiao was about to say something, but Tang Hao, who had been struggling to stand, interrupted him.

"Hahahaha! Big brother, is there even a point in explaining? Can't you see? He came for the Haotian Sect from the very beginning. He has every movement of our people mapped out this so called 'secret art' is just a pretext."

"Spirit Hall is as hypocritical as ever."

After losing both arms, Tang Hao's mind had never been clearer. However, his gaze toward Han Li still burned with fury.

"A crippled dog dares to bark at me? Tang Hao, do you not realize that you are the reason the Haotian Sect has ended up like this?"

"Colluding with spirit beasts. Driving your father to his death. Breeding a pack of 'wolf thieves.' Harboring transformed spirit beasts. And then there's the so called 'Haotian Secret Art.' You even dragged the Crown Prince of Star Luo Empire into this mess! Tang Hao, calling you a traitor to humanity is already too generous."

"Spirit Hall has always been dedicated to maintaining stability across the continent. With your precedent, how could we not keep a close watch on Haotian Sect's movements?"

"If that is what you call 'hypocrisy,' then why don't you step up and do better?"

As Han Li spoke, the Spirit Hall members present unconsciously straightened their backs.

Yes this was what they stood for.

"Tang Xiao, are you still hesitating? Or are you unwilling?"

Han Li's voice rang out once more, and Tang Xiao let out a bitter laugh.

He glanced at his silent younger brother and understood the Haotian Sect was finished.

Tang Hao had dragged them into a pit once again but this time, it was a bottomless abyss.

The label of traitor to humanity would forever be burned into the Haotian Sect's history. Even if they were wiped out, their name would remain nailed to the pillar of shame.

Whether he acted or not no longer mattered.

Because after their initial trials, the chosen participants for the 'bone replacement' technique had all been elite Spirit Masters of the Haotian Sect.

His final hope was to publicly reveal the technique in exchange for the survival of himself and the sect. But the moment Han Li accused them of replacing human bloodlines with spirit beast blood, Tang Xiao knew there was no way out.

Denying the existence of the 'Haotian Secret Art' had failed Han Li had exposed their movements.

And Tang Hao's words had sealed their fate.

At this moment, the Haotian Sect was nothing more than a name.

"Does it even matter whether I do it or not? Would you really spare the Haotian Sect?"

Tang Xiao's smile was a mix of resignation and relief.

"Of course, it matters. This is the difference between a main culprit and an accomplice."

Han Li explained patiently, even nodding earnestly as if he truly meant it.

"Fine."

Tang Xiao took a deep breath as the pitch black Haotian Hammer appeared in his right hand, accompanied by nine standard spirit rings.

At that moment, an overwhelming aura surged forth, and the spectators finally realized the seemingly passive Sect Master Tang Xiao was, in fact, a true Super Douluo.

"I tried my best."

A strained smile appeared on his face as he looked at Tang Hao and Tang San, his eyes filled with sorrow. The Haotian Sect was about to meet its end.

"Mm."

Tang Hao, for once, showed no sign of his usual arrogance. He silently met his brother's gaze.

"Haotian Nine Absolutes Bind."

The body of Tang Xiao's Haotian Hammer shone with an intense black light as he swung it horizontally toward Tang Hao and Tang San.

Tang San wanted to resist, but the soul power suppression was suffocating. Beside him, Xiao Wu was equally immobilized, her spirit power sealed. Tang Hao, however, widened his eyes in shock he knew this technique.

"Survive… and never return. This is the last thing I can do for you."

The Haotian Hammer swept past Tang Hao and Tang San, sending them hurtling toward the edge of the arena.

Tang Xiao then spun around, using the momentum to seize Xiao Wu with his left hand, leaping into the air and facing the audience. A flicker of hesitation flashed through his eyes, but it quickly disappeared he had already made his decision.

"Haotian Nine Absolutes Quake."

Just like Tang Hao earlier, his Haotian Hammer expanded to the size of a small mountain as he activated his Martial Soul Avatar, amplifying all his spirit ring effects to their peak.

He didn't use the Great Sumeru Hammer technique, nor did he detonate his rings. But his spirit power was higher than Tang Hao's, his condition was better, and his understanding of the Haotian Nine Absolutes was deeper.

Instead of attacking Han Li, Tang Xiao targeted the audience and the grandiose Supreme Pontiff Palace in the distance.

He was certain that this strike would draw all attention to him. If he could hold out long enough, Tang Hao and Tang San would escape. With Tang San's talent, he might one day rebuild the Haotian Sect.

As for Xiao Wu, there was no chance for her to escape. If she stayed with them, neither Tang Hao nor Tang San would stand a chance of getting away. Besides, he needed her assistance to last longer.

"Help me."

This was the only message Tang Xiao sent to Xiao Wu through spiritual transmission.

Xiao Wu looked at Tang Hao and Tang San being flung toward the outskirts of the arena and smiled beautifully.

"Brother, goodbye… live well."

"No! Xiao Wu!"

Tang San's heart sank in despair as he watched his uncle and Xiao Wu ascend. The whistling wind in his ears made him realize what was happening.

In midair, the moment Tang Hao was thrown away, he bit down on Tang San's robes to pull him along. Tears filled his eyes. The instant Tang Xiao had uttered the word "Bind," Tang Hao already understood his brother's choice.

"Don't look back. Run."

That was his brother's final decision.

Tang Xiao had sacrificed his own future to give them a chance at survival. From now on, Tang Hao had only one goal to raise Tang San and ensure the continuation of the Haotian Sect.

Below, the crowd was in chaos. Many tried to flee, but the force of the descending Haotian Hammer had already filled the air. Though the hammer hadn't yet struck, the wind pressure alone was suffocating. Faces turned pale with despair.

"What are you panicking for?"

"And Tang Xiao… I gave you a chance. This was your choice."

Han Li's voice rang out, calm and unhurried, but it echoed in the ears of every single person present.

At that moment, all eyes turned toward him whether it was Tang Xiao mid attack, the Spirit Hall members preparing to defend, or even the high ranking officials on the spectator stands, poised to strike back.

Han Li stood in midair, smiling as always.

"Yin Yang Domain, Activate."

As his voice fell, red and white light bloomed from where he floated.

In an instant, a massive circular domain expanded, covering the entire arena.

The world… froze.

The cries of the crowd, the howling wind, even the energy fluctuations all stopped.

And along with them, the colossal Haotian Hammer descending from the sky, as well as Tang Hao and Tang San, who had nearly reached the edge of the battlefield.

Their mouths were still open, their pupils wide in shock. But aside from their thoughts, not a single part of their bodies could move not even their eyes.

The Yin Yang Domain rotated slowly, systematically dismantling the power behind Tang Xiao's "Quake" technique.

No one noticed, but within the glowing light, Han Li discreetly retrieved something from his storage bracelet and placed it in his mouth. Meanwhile, faint traces of powdered herbs dispersed into the domain's energy field, being obliterated along with everything else.

A tranquil sky. A silent world.

If there were any words to describe the scene, then at this moment, the arena could only be called… serene.
