Chapter 313 - Chapter 313: Steal and Flee, Di Tian’s Furious Appearance

Chapter 313: Steal and Flee, Di Tian's Furious Appearance

"Almost there. Old man, once it's done, leave immediately."

Above Star Dou Forest, several figures soared through the sky, completely ignoring the countless soul beasts below. They had already crossed the mixed soul beast zone, speeding toward the core region at an incredible pace.

Leading the group was Han Li, who at this moment turned his head to remind Dugu Bo.

"Understood."

Dugu Bo nodded seriously, offering no unnecessary words.

Behind them, the streaks of light that followed accelerated slightly.

Center Lake

A gentle breeze swept across the emerald green surface of the lake, creating small ripples.

By the shore, a massive soul beast, appearing like a hybrid of an ape and a gorilla, lay on its side in boredom.

Its huge lantern like eyes flickered with golden light as it lazily turned its head to gaze toward the center of the lake.

"Da Ming, do you think Sister Xiao Wu is doing well? She hasn't been back in so long."

A few seconds of silence followed before the lake surface churned violently, and a colossal ox head, spanning over four meters in diameter, emerged from the water.

Its huge, eerie green eyes locked onto the Titan Giant Ape at the shore.

As the sound of water splashing echoed, its lower body was revealed a gigantic black cyan python.

"Er Ming, do you just want to go out and fight again?"

The Titan Giant Ape sat up slightly, rubbing the back of its head in a sheepish manner.

"Ehh, it's just been too boring. Even those Three Thunder Ant Brothers haven't come to provoke me in a while… But I really do miss Sister Xiao Wu."

Da Ming, the Sky Azure Bull Python, swayed its enormous head slightly, gazing at the Titan Giant Ape with a mild warning in its eyes.

"Don't go looking for trouble on purpose. As for Sister Xiao Wu, she should be back soon. If I recall correctly, the meeting date she last mentioned isn't far off."

Er Ming nodded repeatedly, but just as he was about to stand up to say something, he froze his sharp beast instincts kicking in.

Da Ming's body tensed instantly, a reaction that only occurred when facing a powerful enemy.

"Moo… Er Ming, above us! Get ready for battle!"

Hearing Da Ming's warning, the Titan Giant Ape immediately placed both hands on the ground, preparing to leap up.

But before he could move, a voice suddenly echoed in the air.

"Oh, what luck. You're already floating on the water saves me some effort."

"And don't worry, I'll send you both to meet your Sister Xiao Wu shortly."

Just as Da Ming opened his massive mouth, attempting to gather soul power, a layer of frost rapidly formed over his head. His thoughts slowed drastically, and his attack was forcibly interrupted.

At the same time, Er Ming, who had barely begun moving, froze in place, his arms sinking mid motion. His entire body stiffened, leaving him half seated, unable to complete his movement.

Their attacker was naturally Han Li.

He and his group had masked their auras while flying through the sky above, but now that they had reached their target, there was no need to hide anymore.

Da Ming had keen senses, spotting Han Li the moment he revealed himself but it was already too late.

Unlike in Spirit City, where Han Li fought Tang Xiao and Tang Hao mostly for display and intimidation, this time was different.

Da Ming and Er Ming were soul beasts while their strength was comparable to the Tang brothers, their durability was far greater.

More importantly, Han Li's goal was to subdue them as quickly as possible so he had no reason to hold back.

If his intention had been to kill rather than capture, he wouldn't have minded letting Qian Daoliu handle it directly or even blasting them from afar. After all, these two had a tendency to self destruct, so ending it instantly was the best approach.

To show proper respect, Han Li immediately activated the three soul bones in his head region.

Two small, curved dragon horns extended from his forehead.

His right eye glowed with a faint red light, with wisps of crimson mist trailing toward the back of his head.

His entire head radiated a soft white glow.

With Hawk Eye Vulnerability Scan, he marked both beasts, optimizing his next attacks for maximum effectiveness.

At the same time, his Dream Spirit's head soul bone worked in tandem with his dragon horns, amplifying his mental suppression ability fivefold.

Han Li's mental power was already extremely strong but with the soul bone enhancements, his ice infused mental attack left Da Ming and Er Ming completely paralyzed.

In an instant, their minds slowed, and ice elements spread throughout their bodies, freezing them in both thought and movement.

Even for ten thousand year soul beasts with incredibly resilient bodies, it was useless Han Li's ice was absolute in its purity, and he had even mastered a portion of its origin power.

His attacks didn't stop there Han Li was always one to be overly prepared.

As he activated his soul bones for the initial strike, the Ice Fire Dragon Bow manifested in his hands. Four pure white arrows, enveloped in the spectral image of the Ice Dragon King, shot forth, piercing directly into the slightly open mouths of both soul beasts.

Compared to their gigantic frames, the arrows were minuscule but with his glowing, crimson enhanced Hawk Eye skill and overwhelming mental strength, Han Li ensured that every shot found its mark.

Guiding them with precise control, the four arrows split into two targeting the brain and two aiming for the heart.

"Seal."

A low, commanding voice escaped his lips.

Instantly, frosty ice crystals bloomed over Da Ming and Er Ming's heads and chests, keeping them frozen in their original postures.

Or rather, not quite Da Ming's massive body had already begun slipping into the lake.

As everyone knew, in Douluo Continent, unless you were a mental type soul beast or soul master or a protagonist your mental defenses were practically nonexistent.

For normal soul beasts and soul masters, spiritual growth was purely passive. And for two beasts that relied entirely on physical strength, they were at an even greater disadvantage.

With Han Li's mental power enhanced by Faith Energy, his full powered, fivefold mental attack was overwhelming. Had he not held back, their skulls might have exploded outright.

Two faint red beams fired from Han Li's fingertips, each striking a different part of the frozen soul beasts.

In the next moment, the massive figures of Da Ming and Er Ming were propelled through the air, flung toward Han Li's position.

Fifth Soul Skill Rebounding Aerial Arrow.

Just as the two beasts were about to hit the ground, Han Li dismissed the Ice Fire Dragon Bow and extended both hands. A gentle wave of soul power surged forward, cushioning them before they could crash.

Dragon Capturing Hands a technique perfect for control.

The ground trembled slightly as Han Li placed both palms onto their icy bodies, completely encasing them in soul power.

Two massive blocks of ice had now replaced their original forms.

Behind Han Li, the Evil God Hook extended outward, compressing the surrounding space around them.

Then, with a single motion, he shoved them into a bag.

This spatial storage artifact was one of the spoils of war taken from Tang Xiao. Though designed for storing live creatures, it wasn't meant for such massive beings.

Still, with enough compression, it would work for now at least they wouldn't die, making it easier for Dugu Bo to transport them.

Behind him, the elders of the Worship Hall stared at Han Li's effortless movements, momentarily speechless.

For a brief moment, they wondered if this was truly his first time doing something like this.

His actions…

Looked like those of a seasoned criminal.

More importantly, Han Li's combat power was outrageously terrifying.

These were two ten thousand year soul beasts, exceptionally powerful in their own right and yet, in mere moments, they had been completely subdued.

If he could do this to them, then what would happen if they were the targets instead?

Perhaps their defeat would be even easier.

Then, Han Li's voice rang out once more.

"Old man, run."

With zero hesitation, Han Li tossed the storage bag to Dugu Bo, shooting him a meaningful look.

Dugu Bo caught it swiftly, spread his poisonous wings, and blasted off in the direction they had come from speeding as fast as possible.

"Humans! You dare seek death?!"

"Great Senior Brother!"

Two voices roared out simultaneously, nearly overlapping.

But the first was filled with uncontrollable rage.

As the words echoed, a black robed figure appeared.

Judging by the sheer force of his entrance, it was clear he was furious.

The space above the lake ripped apart violently, a dimensional tear forming in midair.

Lake water poured into the rift, but the figure didn't care he simply walked out of it, eyes seething with cold fury.

At the same time, a terrifying black energy erupted from him, shooting toward Dugu Bo, who was retreating at full speed.

As expected, a golden silhouette intercepted the attack midair, blocking it effortlessly.

Dugu Bo didn't even glance back the moment he sensed the powerful energy behind him, he increased his speed even further.

At the forefront, Han Li's Evil God Hook flickered ominously, sealing off the surrounding space.

Behind him, the elders of the Worship Hall were fully tense, prepared to engage at any moment.

Behind the black robed man, five other figures emerged from the lake's surface, their expressions filled with grim seriousness as they took in the incredible force arrayed against them.

"Spirit Hall… Are you courting death?"

The black robed man, Di Tian, didn't even look at Han Li.

Instead, his gaze locked onto Qian Daoliu, who had blocked his attack, his voice slow and deliberate each word dripping with icy killing intent.

Above, Qian Daoliu's brows furrowed slightly, but he remained silent.

Instead, his gaze shifted downward, landing on Han Li.

The suffocating tension hung thick in the air.

Then, amid the silence, a calm voice broke through.

"Beast God Di Tian… I believe you and I have something to discuss."

The black robed man's gaze finally shifted his eyes falling upon the young man in black standing before him.

Only then did he notice something peculiar the weapon Han Li held, its glow carefully hidden, had eight soul rings, each one strangely distinct from the norm.
