Ji Wei suddenly noticed Ye Cheng on the bed waking up. She immediately tugged at Mo Qian's sleeve and whispered to him, "Mr. Ye is awake."
Mo Qian's eyes darkened slightly. He turned around at once and walked toward Ye Cheng.
Ye Cheng weakly propped himself up against the headboard. His lips were cracked and colorless. He raised his phoenix eyes and gave Mo Qian a deep look, then grasped the blanket as if to get out of bed.
Before Mo Qian could stop him, Ji Wei was the first to speak: "Mr. Ye, your fever just subsided, you should rest well. If there's anything you need, just let me and Mo Qian know."
"I want to go back to the company."
Ye Cheng's voice was exceptionally hoarse, his reddened eyes slightly glistened. Yet he stubbornly got out of bed. He barely managed two steps before his legs gave out, nearly causing him to collapse.
Mo Qian caught him in time. Looking at his stubborn demeanor, he spoke with a heavy tone, "Get back in bed."
