Noah opened his eyes and right infront of him was standing a very ugly creature, a dragon. The dragon had a void purple color, it's scale were like small galaxies and eyes, those eyes had a whole different universe in them. Noah felt a shiver run down his spine as sweat gathered at his back.
He gathered all his courage and energy and used it up in standing on his feet. The dragon's face was right infront of his face and he had no courage and energy to even move a finger. He was trembling from the gaze of the dragon and the dragon exhaled.
The dragon could see Noah trembling and sweating just from it's presence and the dragon said few words,
Millions of years, and yet, here we are again. Another foolish human, another broken fate.
Noah didn't understand what the dragon meant. He asked with a cracking voice,
What.... what the hell are you?
Noah's question proved that he had never saw a dragon.
Who I am?
The Dragon gave a little laugh and said,
I am nothing more than a broken and dying legend who once hold the power strong enough to annihilate your kind.
Noah had never heard of something. He did know about the war between humans and dragons but there was no statement in any history book that there once was a dragon who alone was enough to annihilate the mankind.
Even though, the one who was infront of him was still a dragon and it's strength was more than enough to finish Noah.
The dragon continued,
But now, I am just an old dragon waiting for his death.
Noah said with cracking voice,
I do not know what you are talking about but... I have a task.. to fulfill. I have to form a pact with a dragon..... and you are.. you are the one I chose.
These words were enough for the dragon to give a death stare to Noah and unleash his bloodlust on Noah.
Noah started shivering more, his body started sweating more and his heartbeats were echoing around the surrounding.
The surrounding was different from the forest. The surrounding had void purple color crystals which represented the nest of the dragon.
Suddenly, the space around Noah started destorting and Noah was now falling in a black endless void and with him the broken ground was also falling into the endless void.
He could see that the dragon was watching him. Noah thought that he made the dragon mad and now dragon was going to kill him but Noah, he didn't want to die.
He somehow tried to move his body but nothing worked and he saw that a stone was passing near him. The stone was very big.
He grabbed the stone and climbed on it even though it was also falling. He saw that a void purple color crystal was also falling in the void. He used the base of the stone to jump and grabbed the crystal. The crystal was not very big, it was 2 times the size of a human fist.
Even though he grabbed the crystal, he was still falling but he had an idea in his mind.
When Noah was still in the redwood Institute, in his 2nd year, the teacher taught the class about the crystals of the dragon.
Today's topic is the crystal of the dragon. These crystals are very important to a dragon as they form the very nest of a dragon and contain a small portion of their power. These crystals also heals a dragon slowly.
He remembered these words of his teacher and destroyed the crystals simply by crushing it with full force. He felt an abnormal energy running in his body and tried to manipulate it.
Even though Noah was simply very weak and anxious from nature but his mind was very sharp, he was very intelligent.
He used his mind to manipulate the energy and in just few seconds, he was able to use it.
He created a temporary ground in midair and stood on it. He couldn't believe it and said,
I... I.. I did it.
He then started creating temporary ground in stairs formation and climbed his way back to the ground. He came back and said to the dragon with a cracking voice,
Listen.. I.. I had no intention of making you mad.. I just wanted to-
But before he could finish his words, a dragon created a mini black hole. Even though it was a mini black hole which was even smaller than Noah and was just a size of a fist but it's gravitational force was so intense that it was enough to suck Noah. Noah was barely able to stand his ground. He had to think something very fast before the mini black hole suck him completely.
He tried to manipulate the energy again but he could not feel it anymore now. That was the downfall of a crystal. A crystal do grant a small portion of it's particular dragon's power but that power can only be used for one time for a small amount of time and after that, it completely disappears from the body.
Rest of the crystals were so big that Noah alone couldn't crack them and the dragon was guarding those crystals.
Now, the only choice Noah had was to hit the dragon. He had read in a book that if anyone want to disturb the technique of a dragon then they must hit the dragon for one time atleast because a dragon must have full concentration to maintain it's technique but after hitting the dragon, the concentration of the dragon breaks.
Noah was barely able to stand his ground and if he even try to walk towards the dragon then the hole will suck him completely.
He said to himself,
Think.. think.. think something fast!
An idea came in his mind but he was scared to try it because it was way too risky. He said to himself,
What if I does not try it and end up dying and what if I try it and still end up dying?. .Fuck it all, I am gonna try it!
Noah bend down and pickup up a rock of the same size of the mini black hole but because of movement, he was now being pulled by the mini black hole rapidly. He threw the stone on the mini black hole and the moment the stone touched the mini black hole, the gravitational force of the black hole stopped for few seconds and he used that time to run at the dragon and kicked the body of the dragon but the kick was too weak for the dragon to feel anything and he saw a stone laying near his leg, he bend down to pick it up but before he could throw it at the dragon, the mini black hole again started sucking him up and this time, the force was so strong that it didn't give him a second to even breathe and he went flying towards the mini black hole.
He used all his strength and threw the stone on the dragon's face and the stone connected. He saw behind and the mini black hole was right infront of his face and the only thing which came in his mind was.....death.
But then suddenly, the mini black hole disappeared and he survived. He couldn't believe his eyes, he stood up and was now breathing heavily because he was exhausted. Noah never did exercise and because of that, he had very low stamina.
Noah was able to destroy a black hole using his mind.
He throw a stone of the size of the mini black hole on it's face and because of the size of the stone, the mini black hole's gravitational force started focusing only on the stone until it sucked it completely which gave him enough time to reach to the dragon.
He said while breathing heavily,
Please stop... I... I can't do this anymore. I am too tired for all this.
Suddenly, the space around him changed. He fell into a space which was pure copy of the same place of the dragon nest but there was neither the dragon nor his nest but Noah alone.
He noticed that the space was shrinking. He walked few steps and something hit his head even though there was no wall, no tree, it was an empty space. Something started pushing him back and he confirmed that the space was truly shrinking and if this continued, he was going to be crushed to his death.
He started thinking something to avoid this and escape from this space but his mind, it was not working.
Noah looked around and again found the same crystal of fist size. He picked it up but the crystal was too hard to get cracked by his grabbing force alone.
He smashed it on the ground couple of time and nothing worked. His mind was completely blanked now.
He kept thinking about a way to destroy it and the space shrink more and more and then he got an idea.
He ran to a corner of the space and put the crystal there with multiple rocks on it and waited until the crystal developed cracks on it.
After few seconds the crystal developed cracks as the space was pushing the crystal back but the stones on it were pushing the crystal ahead and because of that balanced force, the crystal developed cracks.
He grabbed the crystal and broke it. His body again absorbed the energy and he already had an idea in his mind to escape this place.
He went to the center of the space and started manipulating the energy. He was trying to form two mini black holes and one very small black hole, even smaller than the mini black hole but he was not able to create even one.
He kept trying to break his limits and he succeeded. He formed two mini black holes and a very small black hole and collided the two mini black holes with each other and because of that, a very large amount of energy was released.
The energy was enough to turn Noah to dust but to avoid it, he created a very small black hole who's gravitational force was weak to suck Noah but strong enough to suck all the energy coming towards Noah as he put the black hole infront of him.
Due to the collision between the two mini black holes, the space developed a crack and that crack opened in the real world right infront of that old dragon.
Noah passed through the crack to the real world and arrived right infront of the old dragon.
Noah was now way too tired to even stand his ground and due to the fatigue, he collapsed on the ground.
The dragon looked at him and smiled.
He grabbed Noah and put him on his nest and said,
You are weak. But weakness can be fixed. Potential, however, is either there… or it isn't. You have it. Now prove you are worthy of wielding space itself.
Meanwhile, something very evil was creeping in the forest, something strong enough to kill all the trainees.
