Blueish purple hair tied in a ponytail was the first thing that caught my eye about this person- a girl.
Then, it was the blue and white qipao, with navy leggings and leather boots.
She had blue eyes, with a pair of red glasses over them. I'm not gonna lie, she had sharp features, but the glasses were definitely a no go for me.
I'm the only one who can pull the glasses look off well.
Kiana and I stopped right in our tracks as the girl stood in front of our exit point.
"Hey! You're in our way," Kiana said to the girl, slightly jumpy while looking around. "We're kinda in a hurry here!"
"Oh. I apologise. However, may I ask whether you are the new transfer students to St. Freya Academy?"
"Yea-"
I covered Kiana's mouth shut before she could say anything more.
No way I'm letting her spill the beans about our escape from class.
"Hello… ermm… what can I call you?"
"Fu Hua."
"Fu Hua." I nodded in understanding. "My name is Wu Tiao Wu. And her name…" I pointed to my partner in crime. "Is Qiyana. Like the one from League of Homu, y'know?"
A strange expression came over Fu Hua's face.
"Wu Tiao Wu… and Qiyana? Isn't that just-"
"Yes. As you can see, we are in such a horrid rush right now. Apologies, but we shall have to depart right this moment. Ta ta"
The girl, Fu Hua, was completely dumbfounded for a moment, giving Kiana and I the chance to squeeze by her. Before she could even gather her thoughts, we were already home free-
"Hi~"
…
Not again…
"Principal. Why are you here?"
"I got a report about how two of my wonderful new students usually acted at their old school not long ago." Theresa lightly grabbed our wrists. "Turns out that escaping classes is considered a bonding exercise for them."
"Wow. I wonder who that is. That's so rude, right?"
"Yup. I don't know who Aunt Teri is talking about."
"Aunt… Teri? Is that a new nickname or something?"
"Yeah! It sounds much cuter, don't you think?"
"That is true… But even though she looks like this… her age…"'
"Oi! I'm right in front of you two!" Theresa's eye twitched. "And, I asked Fu Hua to come meet you guys."
"Why?" I asked as I subtly tried removing her hand to dip. Unfortunately, she seemed relatively keen on my wrists.
"She's gonna give you guys a full tour around. The one Major and I did that day was just a barebones one. There's still a lot of things you guys need to know."
Theresa's gaze shifted to the door.
"Good morning, Mei. Bronya."
"Good morning, principal."
"Did the two of you hear what I said just now?"
Both of them nodded, causing Theresa to smile in satisfaction. "In that case, would you please take over from here Fu Hua?"
"I understand, principal."
Fu Hua gave curt nods to Mei and Bronya, who returned them.
In the meantime however, I really only had one thing to say to 'Aunt Teri' at the moment.
"Principal~"
"? Your tone is kinda weird right now…"
"Don't mind that! I just wanted to ask you to please let me go~" I closed my eyes and held a hand to my cheek. "I know I'm the only male student here, but you're really gonna make me blush at this rate~"
The moment my words came out, I suddenly felt that all sound in the surrounding area went silent.
Huh.
Why was that?
I opened an eye to peek, only to see
WTF SHE'S HOLDING UP JUDAH!

Theresa's Judah really did have some sort of weird ability.
She wrapped me up in chains for a bit after my little joke. I didn't feel much, being able to easily break out if I really wanted to. There was a caveat though. Theresa wasn't malicious and knew we were just joking around.
In spite of that, I still felt some weird feeling from being wrapped in it. Thus, I was pretty sure there were special effects.
Perhaps it's because she wasn't fully in combat mode that the special effect of the chains didn't kick in?
I was pretty sure of that hypothesis honestly.
Unfortunately, I can't adapt to it since it didn't really do anything.
Therefore, this little goading didn't really do much of what I wanted…
Oh well. I could always ragebait her more later.
Now onto the next topic.
This girl Fu Hua…
"Are you from our class, Fu Hua?"
I was the first to ask a question to this new… student?
Maybe she could be a teacher?
I didn't know.
She looked young, around seventeen, but who knows in this world. With the amount of tropes I've gone through by now, maybe she could be one of those underage teachers or something.
Is it a stretch?
Probably.
But might as well shoot my shot.
After all…
I couldn't quite place what I felt about her right now…
Fu Hua pushed up her glasses when she heard my question.
"Yes. I'm assigned to you today." Then, she gave a polite smile. "To introduce myself properly, I'm the class monitor of your class, Fu Hua. Nice to meet all of you."
"Hi. I'm Kiana."
"The Bronya."
"My name is Raiden Mei. Nice to meet you."
"Mine is Gojo Satoru, but you can just call me Gojo."
Relatively polite replies, even from Kiana.
First meetings were usually that way, even though maybe Kiana had a small grudge on Fu Hua about slowing down our grand escape.
Bronya and Mei began making small talk as Fu Hua brought us around. On the other hand, Kiana moved over to me.
"You wanna find a chance to dip?"
I gave a thumbs up.
However, it seemed that Kiana wasn't the softest speaker, as Fu Hua promptly stopped and looked at her, causing her to jump back slightly,
"Errr… why are you looking at me like that?"
"Kiana. Gojo. A true warrior requires discipline and knowledge in addition to strength. To neglect them is to build your house on weak foundations."
"As the saying goes. 千里之堤,溃于蚁穴[A thousand mile embankment can be breached by an ant hole]."
"..."
"..."
I felt a nudge on my ribs.
"Gojo.. did she just insult us with something we couldn't understand?"
