On the deck, Vivi smiled at Ikki. "It's not right to trick an old lady like that!"

Ikki looked confused. "Trick her? I was telling the truth!"

"You're a princess of Alabasta! Isn't a signed photo of you worth more than ten thousand Berries?"

"In the future, Zoro will be the world's greatest swordsman! Ten thousand Berries is a steal for his signature."

"If you showed a picture of Sabo to the World Government and told them he was the Revolutionary Army's chief of staff, they'd pay hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions, for his signed photo!"

Vivi was speechless. Ikki's logic was surprisingly sound, and she couldn't find a single way to argue with him. Even Nami looked like she had just discovered a brilliant new moneymaking scheme.

At that moment, Luffy asked with genuine curiosity, "Ikki, why didn't you introduce yourself?"

Everyone turned to look at Ikki. It was true—he had introduced everyone else, each with a more impressive title than the last, but hadn't said a word about himself.

"Oh, me?" Ikki said with a smirk. "I have nothing to introduce. I'm just the most handsome man in the world. I was worried the old lady would get my picture and hang it on her wall, so I decided against it."

The Straw Hats were left completely speechless.

With the help of the Express Shrimp, the crew quickly made their way to the Sky Island.

The moment Wyper set foot on the island, a look of pure disgust crossed his face. This was to be expected. His ancestors, the Shandians, had been driven out of their homeland by these very Sky Islanders.

Hundreds of years ago, before Enel's reign, the Golden Land was occupied by the Sky Islanders under their god's command. Wyper, understandably, had no love for them.

He approached Luffy and Ikki. "When are we going to confront Enel?" he demanded.

After hearing that the Golden Bell was in Enel's possession, Luffy had decided he would take it back and ring it himself, a promise he'd made to Mont Blanc Cricket and his crew. To do that, they had to fight Enel. This led to the Straw Hats forming a temporary alliance with Wyper.

Seeing Wyper's impatience, Ikki smiled. "Don't worry," he said. "Someone will send us right to Enel soon enough."

Ikki had used his Sharingan to influence the old lady, Sour Plum, but he knew that once she recovered, she would alert the priests. At that point, the Express Shrimp would take them directly to Enel, saving them the trouble of finding him.

Ikki's only real dilemma was whether he should simply defeat Enel or kill him. Enel was powerful, but he suffered from a severe case of "chuunibyou" and was disconnected from reality.

Ikki believed that the "Thor's Hammer" he had in mind would be a surefire cure for Enel's delusions. But it was too early to decide. As the saying goes, a serious case of chuunibyou only truly gets cured with a good beating.

And Ikki was more than ready to deliver that.

While the Straw Hats were enjoying their time on Sky Island, Ace had already returned to the New World.

On the deck of the Whitebeard Pirates' ship, the day had come for Whitebeard and Shanks to meet. Shanks's sole purpose was to convince Whitebeard to call Ace back and prevent him from pursuing Blackbeard Teach.

As soon as Shanks boarded the ship, he unleashed a wave of Conqueror's Haki. Many of the Whitebeard Pirates' crewmates fainted instantly. The division commanders were angered by this show of force, but they couldn't say anything—this was a meeting between two emperors.

"Haha... My apologies," Shanks said, scratching his head with a smile as he held a large bottle of sake. "I'm on someone else's ship, after all. I had to make an impression."

Whitebeard said nothing, as Shanks's actions hadn't crossed his personal line. Shanks, aware of Whitebeard's power, sat down casually across from him. There was a huge size difference between them, forcing Shanks to crane his neck to meet Whitebeard's gaze, which made his own presence seem a bit weaker. He didn't care. He filled Whitebeard's sake bowl, then his own, and got straight to the point: he wanted Whitebeard to call Ace back.

Whitebeard, however, refused to be swayed by a man he still saw as a mere kid.

After a moment of silence, the two men had a silent clash of Conqueror's Haki. The powerful collision of their wills split the very clouds in the sky, leaving a chasm that would not close for a long time.

Ace, who had just flown over the Whitebeard Pirates' ship, was caught directly in the powerful shockwave of the Haki collision and knocked out of the sky.

Thankfully, Ace also possessed Conqueror's Haki, which helped him absorb the worst of the impact. The clash of two emperors was an attack that could have shattered a lesser man.

Seeing the other version of Ace falling from the sky, both Whitebeard and Shanks stopped their confrontation.

Whitebeard reached out and gently caught Ace, placing him safely on the deck after confirming he was unharmed.

"Ace... what are you doing back?"

Ace shook his head, which was still buzzing, and took a moment to recover before answering. "Teach was rescued by the Marines!"

Whitebeard's eyes narrowed. "The Marines?" he grumbled. "Hmph! If they can protect him for a while, can they protect him forever?"

"But Ace, as long as you're safe, that's what matters."

Whitebeard had been deeply concerned by Shanks's warning. Shanks was powerful enough to challenge him, and if he admitted that Blackbeard was a threat, then Ace was truly in danger. Now that Ace was back, Whitebeard felt a wave of relief.

"I wasn't safe," Ace admitted. "I was captured, too!"

Ace then proceeded to explain everything that had happened, including the power of the Tiger Talisman. Hearing that Ace had been captured and was possibly facing execution, Whitebeard's rage exploded, and he unleashed his Conqueror's Haki without restraint.

"Bastard! To think such a thing happened!"

Seeing Whitebeard's fury, Ace said in a serious tone, "Whitebeard, I don't want you to save the other me."

"If you get involved, you'll disrupt my plan."

Whitebeard froze. Ace had always called him "Pops," but now he had addressed him by his name.

"Good and evil?" Whitebeard muttered to himself. "What is this plan of yours? Tell me. If it's a solid plan, the Whitebeard Pirates will fully cooperate with you!"
