Chapter 203 - The Birth of a New God!

In the future, within the mental realm of white, a voice echoed: "Body... returned. Soul... returned. Consciousness... returned. No self in the world... no self in karma... no self in dimensions... no self in existence..." white returned every trace of his existence to the Original God. From that moment on, no such person existed within the stars of Hong Hao, leaving not even a shred of evidence behind. Yet, in that same instant, a brand-new life form was explosively born—no, it was no longer a life form, but a being of pure energy! This transcendent energy did not belong to the blessing of any deity; it surpassed the boundaries of space and time, incomparable to anything else. This seemingly delicate yet unimaginably powerful new energy had already far surpassed the realm of the Original God, evolving tenfold with every day and night as a boundary, continuing eternally from this moment forward! There would be no more Original God, no more purification cycles, and no more shackles of karma! For the supreme power of the new god was about to be born! Both the decaying past and the miraculous future bowed in worship at this moment; even the stars across the sky fell in shame. The hierarchy between gods and mortals was reset to zero from this moment and would be reshaped henceforth!

"Though it was you who created us, I crave your forgiveness at this moment, for from now on, I shall replace you." Within my mind, I offered a final prayer to the Ancestor of All Gods. "Is this the truth of the universe?" Ending that long meditation, I slowly opened my eyes. The history of all things in the universe had been fully read by me; the cycles and experiences of all mortals and gods since ancient times passed before my eyes. Even the origin of the Original God, the Ancestor of All Gods, was revealed. "Pitiable world, pitiable mortals, pitiable gods," I sighed three times, continuing to suppress this newborn energy; otherwise, a single thought could spiral out of control and destroy everything, including the Original God.

Meanwhile, waiting in outer space, Enis, Suōshā, and the other gods were yet to learn that white had broken through his realm—a new Original God, surpassing the previous one, had been born!

Let us turn the lens back to Lian Kong's memories. The next day, Xinya still woke up early. Supplies were distributed only once a day, and those who were late would miss out; every member of the group was used to the routine of sleeping and waking early. "Morning~" Xinya greeted everyone as usual after arriving at the cafeteria. "What are your arrangements for today, Vice Captain?" the members asked with a smile.

"Hmm... Ruta and Saiying, you two take that new bike to the neighboring city to collect supplies. Our faces need to be rotated constantly; we can't always have the same group going. Jessie and Kili will apply for supplies in this city. As for me... I'll stay in the district to supervise the progress of the protective wall construction." After Xinya finished her arrangements, Saiying was the first to respond: "That motorcycle is your property; it's not right for us to use it~"

"I lost the original motorcycle. From now on, this new bike is public property for everyone. Don't push back anymore; let's stick to the plan," Xinya sat down and began her meal, speaking no further. The others had no choice but to follow her lead.

After the meal, the group split into three directions. Xinya began organizing the idle personnel in the slum to repair the fencing. After all, the first line of defense for their home could not be neglected; only by finding and plugging leaks could they guard against the ill intentions of human traffickers. "Little Xinya, a hole was discovered over here recently. What material do you think we should use to fill it?" an uncle setting up a shed asked, pointing to a corner. Xinya walked closer to take a look; it didn't look like damage from years of neglect, but rather like a hole deliberately dug recently. Her heart grew wary. "Uncle Ye, have any strange faces been wandering around the district lately?" she asked.

"Four or five days ago, while I was helping out, I did see a group of strangers arriving by car. They seemed to be looking for something on the perimeter," the uncle replied. Xinya's heart sank. It seemed the traffickers had already set their sights on this place. The situation was critical. "Uncle Ye, please use a sturdy iron mesh to patch this hole first. Also, gather some neighbors to continue searching for any new breaches. Furthermore, we might increase night-shift personnel soon; I hope everyone can prepare early." After giving her orders, Xinya rushed back to the headquarters to begin drafting the meeting agenda, preparing for a general discussion meeting within the district tonight.

Inside a certain room, "The population situation has been scouted. We can move tonight. Bring all the hypnotics and sedative guns!" a greasy middle-aged man said with a smirk as he deployed the operation. "You failed once here last month. If you fail again this time, the organization above will likely revoke your designation," a man wearing glasses said, his words a light threat. "Please rest assured, the mission will be completed!" the middle-aged man replied with a bow.
