Chapter 219: When Your Daughter Brings Home a Little Girl
The meaning behind Er Ming's recent roar was clear:
"Da Ming, I'm going to follow Mama Ah Rou to the human world for a new start. Take care!"
A shimmer of light enveloped Er Ming's massive form, and his mountainous physique began to rapidly shrink until he took the form of a six year old child. Despite his toddler like appearance, his body was unmistakably lined with muscle, leaving no doubt about the power he possessed.
Ah Rou, with motherly care, wrapped a cloak around him, sighing, "Er Ming, you didn't have to rush this. You've already passed your heavenly tribulation and could live peacefully for a hundred thousand years."
Er Ming seemed eager to respond but, realizing he still hadn't learned the human language, could only scratch his head in frustration, causing everyone around to chuckle. Ah Rou picked him up, and the group started on their way back.
Although they planned to return to Tianxing Academy, they took their time, given that most of the group was female, and enjoyed a leisurely journey. Ah Rou briefly considered visiting the Azure Bull Python in the forest's core but recalled her husband's mysterious disappearance there. She remembered Ye Wen's warning to avoid the forest's core unless necessary. The creatures lurking there were far too dangerous, especially since the ancient powers that once slumbered there had awakened.
Their return trip felt like a carefree outing until they encountered something unexpected on the forest's edge.
"Little Tianxin, where did this little one come from?" Liu Erlong asked in surprise.
A petite girl with silver hair and violet, teary eyes clung timidly to Ye Tianxin's pants, her expression fragile and adorable, awakening an urge to protect her in everyone around her.

Ah, she's adorable! Everyone felt their hearts pierced by the little girl's cuteness.
Ah Rou, with her strong maternal instincts, immediately picked up the little girl, leaving Er Ming momentarily forgotten. She cuddled and cooed, doting on the girl endlessly, unable to resist her cuteness. The rest of the group shared her reaction, marveling at how there could be such an adorable child in the world.
After a while, Ah Rou, still smitten, finally pulled herself together. She looked seriously at Ye Tianxin, "Little Tianxin, where did this little girl come from? It's time for the truth."
Seeing everyone so infatuated with the little girl's cuteness, Ye Tianxin sighed, "How should I know? I woke up, and she was right there in my arms! I wanted to ask why none of you noticed her during the night."
Liu Erlong and Ah Rou exchanged glances, equally puzzled.
"A cute little girl just appearing out of nowhere? That's… odd," Liu Erlong said, sharing Ye Tianxin's bewilderment. Both women were at the level of Titled Douluo, meaning that they should have been able to detect any approaching presence, human or otherwise. It made no sense for a child to simply appear.
Suspicious, they carefully examined the girl but found no sign of her being a transformed spirit beast. Despite being on the forest's edge, it still seemed improbable for a young child to be out here alone. The situation was truly perplexing.
Once again, they all turned their attention to the little girl. Ah Rou softly asked, "Little one, where are your family members?"
The girl shook her head with a slight frown, stammering, "I…I don't know."
The group was stumped. Normally, Ah Rou or Liu Erlong could be intimidating enough to force the truth out of anyone, but with such a delicate child, they felt hesitant to press. After a moment, Liu Erlong suggested, "Should we…take her to the academy and let the dean see if he knows anything?"
Ah Rou, still clutching the girl, nodded. "Yes, we can't leave her wandering alone. It's too dangerous."
With this adorable new addition to the group, they sped up their journey back to Tianxing Academy, foregoing the leisurely pace they had set before. However, none of them noticed a figure watching them from a distance of a thousand meters a dignified man clad in black, his gaze solemn as he watched the group walk away. It was Di Tian.
As the group disappeared from sight, Di Tian turned back to the underground lake of Life's Domain. Bowing, he said, "My lord, everything went according to your plan. Your other half has been taken by them."
Beneath the lake, the Silver Dragon King, cloaked in radiant colors, opened her eyes, her voice calm and filled with both exhaustion and subtle pain. "Good."
Had anyone examined her closely, they would have noticed a fierce wound on her body, one left by the God of Asura himself. The lingering godly power continued to damage her, and if not for her innate healing power, she might have perished long ago.
Di Tian hesitated before asking, "My lord, was it truly necessary to go to such lengths for a mere newborn god?"
The Silver Dragon King's shimmering eyes wavered slightly with fatigue. "In time, Di Tian, you will understand the purpose behind all of this. Simply continue protecting me."
With that, the Silver Dragon King fell back into slumber. Though doubtful, Di Tian had no choice but to trust in fate's mysterious plan. Bowing once more, he returned to his lair.
Meanwhile, at Tianxing Academy, Ye Tianxin shifted nervously as she faced her father's questioning gaze.
(._. ) Ye Wen:
"Tianxin, can you explain how exactly you came to bring this little one home?"
Feeling like a kidnapper under her father's scrutiny, Ye Tianxin stammered as she explained the girl's sudden appearance.
Just then, the little girl seemed to sense a new "reliable" person nearby and immediately latched onto Ye Wen.
(｡>ᴗ<)ﾉﾞ "Pa! Pa!" she said, hugging him tightly.
Ye Wen blinked in shock, but before he could react, Ah Yin and Bo Saixi entered, having heard about the situation. For a moment, the atmosphere grew tense as they took in the scene.
Ye Wen, flustered, tried to explain, "It's not what it looks like…"
But Ah Yin simply scooped up the little girl, cuddling her happily. "Oh, what a cute little sweetheart!"
