Chapter 321: The Era of the Douluo God Realm – Part XI: Fulfillment

Two months had passed since Ye Wen crossed the final line, and he had been working up the courage to address his entire family about it. Finally, one evening at dinner, he resolved that it was time to make things right.

Clearing his throat, he called for everyone's attention. "Ahem, everyone, could I have a moment?"

He had deliberately chosen a serious tone as if he were about to announce some critical news, and everyone's eyes immediately turned toward him. Ye Wen took a deep breath, steadying himself for what was surely the most nerve wracking confession he'd ever made.

"I have… I've taken another wife."

A tense silence settled over the table. He braced himself, feeling ready to meet the reproachful looks of his children.

"The woman I wish to take as my wife is Na'er… Ye Na'er."

There, he had said it at last. He felt a wave of relief, though he was equally prepared for a harsh reaction. After all, to take his adopted daughter as his wife was questionable at best.

But the looks he expected never came; instead, his family gazed at him with warm, understanding smiles. Ye Wen looked around, puzzled. Surely they should have some objections to this?

"What's with those looks?" he finally asked. "Aren't any of you upset with me? Ah Yin, Xixi, Dong'er, Qianqian, Xue'er am I really getting off this easy?"

The family only exchanged glances, and then, after a silent debate, Ah Yin stepped forward as the family's representative. Her calm, gentle demeanor immediately reassured him, though Ye Wen couldn't help feeling a bit sheepish under her gaze.

"Actually, big brother, we discussed this matter with Dong'er's help a while ago, and we've already come to terms with it," she explained with a smile.

Ye Wen's eyes widened, and he turned to look at Bibi Dong. "Dong'er! You told them? You traitor!" His shock was palpable.

But Bibi Dong only shrugged, averting her gaze. She looked entirely unapologetic, almost smug, and Ye Wen could only sigh, realizing there was no point in arguing.

Finally, his eldest daughter, Ye Tianxin, walked up to him, looking every bit the resolute, heroic figure she had become now the proud bearer of the Fire God's divine position, a rank one deity.

"Father, everyone here knows what kind of person you are. You've always been cautious and fair," she said warmly, hands on her hips. "And this situation with Na'er well, I think it's safe to say that it's hardly your fault. You've shown courage in taking responsibility."

Her words touched him, and his heart swelled with pride. He had truly been blessed with a family who loved him, flaws and all.

"Besides, if Na'er chooses to adopt a new identity and remain by your side as your wife, who would ever question it?" Ye Tianxin continued, "Our family has grown and stayed close, Father. That's our success."

Her words brought forth smiles and words of encouragement from the rest of the family, each one reassuring him that he had their support. Ye Wen felt an immense weight lift off his shoulders.

"Thank you… all of you," he murmured, feeling more grateful than ever. His family's acceptance filled him with a renewed sense of peace. Of course, it didn't change the fact that balancing life with seven wives was proving to be a unique challenge, one that even his godly strength struggled to meet. Yet he found solace in their understanding and mutual support.

As he often did when things became too overwhelming, Ye Wen retreated to his study to focus on work. His family, both amused and sympathetic, only smiled knowingly, leaving him to his peace.

Time passed quickly, and nearly four thousand years had elapsed since Ye Wen's ascension to the Divine Realm. In that time, the construction of his ultimate creation his colossal artifact had finally reached its completion.

This wasn't just any artifact; it was a god tier masterpiece that stood as tall and grand as a mountain itself. Those present to witness the unveiling could only stare in awe.

Strong is good; large is beautiful. The artifact before them was the embodiment of that statement.

Standing atop a platform with gravitas, Ye Wen looked out at the crowd of tens of thousands of powerful cultivators. Among them, even the lowest rank was a Spirit Saint, while most were at the Title Douluo level or above, with many gods among them.

Compared to the first era of Douluo, this generation of warriors would easily dwarf their predecessors. Ye Wen raised his voice, letting his powerful words reach every corner of the gathering.

"Today, Douluo Star enters a new era," he declared, his voice ringing out clearly. "What you see behind me, this enormous artifact, is the future of Douluo Star!"

His voice brimmed with authority and excitement as he gestured toward the massive structure. "Behold! The artifact's true name and purpose: The Divine Gate of Realms! Once fully powered, it has the ability to transport us anywhere in the universe. No longer do we have to fear space time turbulence or storms."

He paused, letting the weight of his words settle in before posing a question that would forever ignite their ambitions.

"So I ask you are you ready to become gods?"

The crowd erupted into cheers, their excitement tangible as the dream of ascension drew near.
